Anyone have covid right now?

Hi everyone,
Just wondered if there was anyone else currently with Covid, I suffer from anxiety and sitting alone in my room isolating really isn't helping. Im only on day 2.
So far I've had a very sore throat and my nose feels slightly congested.
I would love to have a covid pal to get through these difficult and lonely few days.

Found out i was positive yesterday, was ill all night the night before so did test in morning. Really bright lines. Really bad with it shakes, sweating, sore eyes, headache, aching legs, arms, congestion, no taste or smell and basically I'm shattered. Tested my children and 3 of them have it too!

And I'm triple jabbed :(

I finally got a negative LFT result today. Still feel washed out and smell/taste very muted. The cough is hanging around too.

What day are you on again @takeyourcanvasbag ?

Day 9 and second neg lft so made a dash for freedom outdoors woohoo. Slight sniffle and occasional cough but otherwise back in business. Annoyingly DF now has a faint pos on his lft after testing for days despite having symptoms since Friday.

Hoping folk get their neg LFTs soon and others have their symptoms clear fast.

Day 11 since first LFT.

I finally tested negative yesterday and today (days 8 and), still no sense taste. I can tell food is salty/sweet but apart from that, nothing. Just had some smoked salmon & cream cheese, salmon tasted like an oily mess. Muscles twitching aplenty. Feeling shaky when being outside today, kind of almost being scared to be in the real world.

Day 1 for me tested positive this morning. Mostly a dry throat / cough and feeling a bit 'out of it' very high sugar craving when I felt tired which at the time I wasn't testing positive but wonder if that was covid kicking in and wondered if my body was trying to find energy.

Very tired too but still trying to wfh to keep things normalised

Day 3 for me, been up all night, chest heavy and breathlessness. Feeling panicky. I can breathe but it feels hard to. I have very mild asthma so have a blue inhaler. Anyone else?

Hey! Day 5 here and woke up with a sore throat (prior to this there was just head pressure). Has anyone had two negative tests days 6/7 and come out of isolation? Looking for some hope for an event I have this weekend x

Sorry to hear some of you are still ill hope it eases up soon for all of you. I'm day 3 and i now feel worse than day 1, couldn't sleep last night atall shakes and sweats back, so congested made me all panicky. My eyes are so sore aswell. And this stupid government is expecting people to work and go school like this. Recipe for absolute disaster

Also still no taste or smell. Just salt, sweet or sour

Day 8 and my throat is back to being incredibly painful, can hardly speak, and it now feels sort of like it's solidified into my chest.

It's marvellous.

At least DS is back to school tomorrow as this is his Day 10, although he's still testing positive.

Properly bored of it now.

Im day 8 now, still tired, backache, slightly sore throat and nose (but improved). My smell and taste went again last night after going day 3 and returning day 6. Was dd's bday yesterday, she also +, and her cake tasted of sugar and nothing else!
Still strong lines on lft, but think it can show +ve for weeks even though not infectious?

Sorry to those suffering in the thick if it. I get how utterly crap it is.

Hi ! Well yesterday I had a sudden improvement, went for a walk yesterday and today and sinuses are a lot better

Feel a lot better today ! Also my boyfriend arrived (we live apart ) so think that gave me a massive boost! So sorry you aren’t feeling good still (

Yes I’m assuming so. Daughter started with a temp and sore throat in the middle of the night. She tested positive this morning. I was initially okay but since then I’ve developed a temp, had chills, banging headache and sore throat. Comes and goes in severity. My LFT was negative this morning but I hazard a guess it’ll be positive in next few days

Can I ask - did everyone’s LFT come up positive straight away, or anyone need the full 30 minutes?

I’m going to test in the morning but I’m so anxious now. I’ve had a right decline this evening after a few days of my 2yo being sniffly and poorly, now I feel really rough!

I’m 36 weeks pregnant and my symptoms are:
Sore throat
Sinuses feel full
Runny nose
Bit of a cough but not much.
Chest feeling tight/sore
Itchy ears

I’ve only had one jab, we’ve been saying every weekend that we need to go for our second jab then our boosters but time has completely ran away with us, we’ve sold our house and had to move out last week so it’s been a stressful time.

I really hope I don’t have it as my anxiety will hit the roof

Day 5 now. Yesterday through the day I felt fine and somewhat deteriorated at night. Running nose and burning eyes. Woke up this morning with a sore throat (think it's because I've been coughing) and blocked nose and my face is hurting. It's a very weird virus because it comes in stages. I woke up soaked in sweat in the middle of the night so had night sweats too last night

Drink lots of hot drinks and rest as much as you can Is my advice xx

@FedUpOfLighteningCrotch yeah mine was positive and dark line immediately - if you have strong symptoms so will yours probably !

I tested positive on Thursday and this morning I'm still getting dark red lines coming up on the lateral flow. I'm still feeling achey all over especially in my legs and I have no energy. I feel bad I'm letting my work down and like I should try and go back in tomorrow but at the same time I work with vulnerable children. I just don't know what to do.

Negative LFT this morning. I feel really rough. Cried for DP to stay home and look after DC today as I don’t even have the energy to get up.

I feel a bit sick now now too. I did book a PCR for this morning as I read LFT don’t always pick it up if you already have symptoms. But I honestly don’t think I can’t even manage getting up and going to the car.

If it’s not covid I’m concerned it might be actual flu, but my temp is fine so far (although my face feel hot and flushed) - NHS website says flu can be dangerous to unborn babies so now I’m on edge either way!

DP made me a hot lemon and has dosed me up on paracetamol I think we’re both hoping I can sleep it off as DC is downstairs crying for me

Pcr test? Don’t go out if you feel too poorly !
