Is anyone being offered Pfizer as a booster?

Locally we only have Moderna being offered. I wondered if it was pot luck, a Nationwide decision and if it’s possible to have a booster done privately to be able to pick?

I had pfizer for my booster.

So did I.

I had Pfizer booster on Thursday, Lancashire

I had Pfizer booster after 2x AZ

I had Pfizer in London.

All 3 of mine have been phizer

I had Pfizer after the first two were AZ. Someone said they just used what they were given.

I had Pfizer. DH got Moderna (a few days later).

Only Pfeizer in my area, no option to have Moderna.

I had Pfizer through work at a hospital, my DH had Moderna at a pharmacy drop in clinic. It's just what supply they are allocated at the time!

My whole family have had Pfizer as a booster except me, I had Moderna. I did read somewhere that Moderna isn’t approved in this country for under 18s and so they are reserving as much Pfizer as possible for teenagers and giving Moderna to the rest of us now.

All 3 of mine have been Pfizer. Husband had his this morning, also Pfizer (his first 2 were AZ). South West.

I had Pfizer...I was the first appt after lunch and the morning appts had been given Moderna. I'm quite pleased because everyone I know who had Moderna has felt dreadful afterwards.

Me and OH went to the same vaccination centre on the same day, I had Moderna and OH had Pfizer.

There was a lot more Pfizer than Moderna ordered originally so you are far more likely to get Pfizer. Where I vaccinate we've only ever had Pfizer (& AZ originally).

Yep Pfizer in London. I had 2 x AZ previously.

Literally just had Pfizer, I’m doing the 15 minutes before I can leave. I’m in Gloucestershire.

Only moderna here in the drs surgery booster clinics but it's pot luck if you go to the bigger centre as they are doing under 18's as well

yes, beds. had my pfizer at local chemist

I'm sitting in the 15 minute waiting area after my Moderna booster. No choice, and everyone else I know who has bern boosted here over the last few weeks has had Moderna. But everyone else I know elsewhere has had Pfizer.

I assume potluck.

I'm curious OP why does it matter to you?
