Wiped out after covid booster

Has anyone else felt wiped out after their covid booster? I had it 6 days ago now and am still exhausted. I napped for an hour both afternoons this weekend! I had the usual sore arm and felt very achey the day after, but am wondering if this fatigue is connected. I've had Pfizer every time and am in my 40s (healthcare worker so testing weekly and def not covid)

I had mine yesterday afternoon. My arm absolutely kills - not even two 30/500 cocodamol which I take for my RA pain is touching it. I've also fallen asleep at regular intervals today - thank goodness I've been at home! Especially odd as I had nine hours sleep last night which is very unusual for me.

I also feel a bit lightheaded and 'spacy'.

Forgot to say - my booster was Spikevax (the new name for Moderna according to the nurse!). My first two were AZ - I was absolutely floored for almost a week after the first, awful flu like symptoms, nosebleeds, fever and it kicked off a really nasty RA flare. Completely fine after the second.

I had my 3rd pfizer as my booster on Saturday just gone, literally slept the whole weekend away & arm a bit sore but feeling a whole lot better on day 3. Hope you're feeling better soon.

DH had Moderna and was fine, just a sore arm and did ParkRun the next day, I have mine this Wednesday and suspect I won't be so lucky. He didn't have much side effects with his AZ either, I had a migraine and rapid heart with that.

I feel like a truck has hit me. I had no effects from AZ does 1&2 but had Moderna yesterday and it’s floored me. Slept pretty much constantly from 11PM Sun to 2PM Mon and could still slip back to sleep now. I took today off work and likely will do tomorrow too

Hi there, I am recovering from COVID at the moment (previously double-jabbed with AZ). No symptoms any more except fatigue. I am due to have the booster on 17th December but wondering whether to delay it based on the fact I've had COVID recently (so a mini-booster) and I can't afford any more illness this year. Anyone done similar?

There has to be 28 days between your positive test and a booster jab.

Completely floored by Pfizer booster, high temp, chills, sweats, shivering, tachycardia, had to cancel loads of plans and spend weekend on sofa. I actually think I was a bit delirious. Basically slept non stop when racing heart would allow. Horrible. In 2 minds about getting another.

Haven't had my booster yet but the man working at the lft centre told me 'Don't rush! I felt awful after it!'

I had my Pfizer booster after 2 x Pfizer jabs, and literally felt nothing. Not even a sore arm.

DH also had Pfizer after 2 x AZ, and he too was fine.

DB had Moderna after 2 x Pfizer and he felt rough for several days.

After my Pfizer booster (after 2 x AZ jabs) I had a niggly headache for about a week. It wasn't enough of a headache to be constantly popping paracetamol but it was just there in the background.

X2 AZ and Moderna booster a week ago , I still have a thumping headache and zero energy. My face also swelled up and after a google found out it’s a reaction to fillers . The skin is now dry and flakey where the swelling was.

Pfizer booster after 2 AZ. Rough after AZ one, no side effects after AZ 2 then less extreme version of 1 after booster.
Night sweats, aching bones and limbs, tiredness and nausea. Have had a sleep both days since booster and have struggled to do much. Very unlike me, usually run daily etc.

Moderna for the third, after two AZ's, all a complete non event, almost as if they injected water instead of the vaccine.

Had mine Saturday. Pfizer after 2 AZs. Fe
lt odd a few minutes after, very warm and tingly and weird, almost like a rush. Felt strange for a couple of hours, then freezing cold and fatigued. Slept like a log, felt drained and woozy sunday but just pottered around. Slept like a log again but been fine today. 🙂

Had shivers and a fever after first one for a few hours, nothing after second one. Oh and arm a bit hot and sore after all 3.

I'm day 4 post Pfizer booster - knackered.

I had my booster on Sat (Pfizer) and had to leave work today as I felt so rough. Armpit is all swollen and painful, fatigue, non-stop diarrhoea on Sun and today (it eased off yesterday), today also feeling spacey, chills, banging headache and slightly nauseous.

I had Pfizer for v1(slightly tender arm) and for v2 (slightly more achy but otherwise ok)
Hoping this is the final surge before feeling better again!

Had the Moderna on Thursday, spent Friday & Saturday in bed with flu type symptoms. Still absolutely wiped out.

DH and everyone else I know who has had Moderna has been the same.

2 X AZ and Moderna at 10.30 this morning.

Just woke up from a very unexpected nap. Arm and head are killing me. I've just started a week on being on call at work and am dreading getting called out.

Flu like symptoms the next day after Pfizer booster

Since then I’m not sure, I’ve been tired but I’m always tired!

I haven't had any ill effects from any of my Covid jabs, including the booster (yesterday) - all Pfizer. Bit of a sore arm. My immune system is so old and knackered it can't even be arsed kicking in for a vaccine🤣

My first two were AZ and booster was Moderna. Other than sore arm have had no reaction to any of them.

Both DH and I were knocked sideways after our Moderna booster, but it turned out we actually both have Covid. Bit of a bad timing. It is mild for Covid, just a really bad endless cold, but I nearly yellow-carded it as Moderna side effects.

Can vaccines really be safe making people's heart race and how can a vaccine give someone a sore throat?
This all just sounds awful! Imagine dreading mine now!!.

Is moderna better than pfeixer is modena the one that works in all different way.
