I know it’s very very very faint and I’m not even sure it’s there. Photo taken 18 minutes after a 15 minutes test. What do you think??

WhiskersPete · 02/12/2021 19:25
There is something there
Norano · 02/12/2021 19:28
Fingers crossed you get your negative
PanettoneSeason · 02/12/2021 19:30
@StuckInARug What shut timing for you OP! Fingers crossed for a negative result tonight for you 🤞🏼 And thank you for using your common sense and getting a PCR! I can’t believe all the ones on this thread just dismissing it as negative when OP can see a faint line 🙄 better to be over cautious in my opinion!
CiderWithLizzie · 02/12/2021 19:30
I think negative. I think there’s something up with the flow flex tests. My DD1 has tested positive every week on one for the last 6 weeks. Her PCR and old style lateral flows are negative.
Brenna24 · 02/12/2021 19:35
Everything crossed for you
IgneousRock · 02/12/2021 19:35
I think that's a positive. Fingers crossed for you OP!
gogohm · 02/12/2021 19:37
Before use even if you look very carefully at the test you can see where the two stripes are
Mummy7777 · 02/12/2021 19:42
Either way I hope its negative and you get on that plane. All the best x
Whatafrickennightmare · 02/12/2021 19:42
I have had problems with the flow flex a few times giving me false positives having to go for PCR and all negative, yet old style are negative So frustrating. Hope you get a negative.
Faevern · 02/12/2021 19:45
Do a LFT with just water, no swab, if a feint line comes up your kit is dodgy.
NotMyselfWithoutCoffee · 02/12/2021 19:57
I wouldn't necessarily say positive yet if you are reading them after the time limit.
My nephew had a strong positive lft but negative lft, only way to know for sure is do a pcr.
NotMyselfWithoutCoffee · 02/12/2021 19:57
Sorry negative pcr
BirdyBirdyTweetTweet · 02/12/2021 19:58
Nope can't see anything
Couchbettato · 02/12/2021 19:59
@Faevern
I agree with this.
Always do a control test. It's the scientific way.
StrongLegs · 02/12/2021 20:00
Good luck there.
Last time we had covid my son started with one cough and I knew it was the same cough as he'd had the previous time we had covid. At that point he had the faintest of faint lines, so I think you are absolutely right to have the PCR test.
Well done for doing the right thing and I really hope it comes back negative for you.
julieca · 02/12/2021 20:02
This is what my lateral flow looked like. My PCR came back positive.
StuckInARug · 02/12/2021 20:05
I have packed by suitcase now, my handbag with passport etc, really hoping for the best! Haven’t seen some of my family for 3 years so it would be really disappointing if I didn’t get to travel. But if it’s positive then that’s that 😭
PaleGreenGhost · 02/12/2021 20:06
That's what my kid's lateral flow looked like. I read it as negative. Forgot to bin it and looked again that evening and saw a line just like in your pic. He was confirmed positive the day after.
Marianne1234 · 02/12/2021 20:06
All this inverting images etc is ridiculous.
vdbfamily · 02/12/2021 20:09
Fingers crossed for you op. Are you staying up to midnight then?
PreacherTeacher · 02/12/2021 20:10
Fingers crossed for you!
bethabean · 02/12/2021 20:14
🤞🏼🤞🏼 I really hope it's negative
JedEye · 02/12/2021 20:15
Good luck 🤞
justhereforthecraic · 02/12/2021 20:16
Oh fingers crossed for you 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
HaaaaaveyoumetTed · 02/12/2021 20:17
Fingers crossed for you OP. FWIW I can't sometimes see a faint line in mine, bit like what we'd call an evap on a pregnancy test and PCRs have always been negative.
