I know it’s very very very faint and I’m not even sure it’s there. Photo taken 18 minutes after a 15 minutes test. What do you think??

This happened to my OH just after his second vax dose. Veeeeerrry faint line. Clearer if inverted. He didn't have covid.

authenticforgery · 02/12/2021 14:15

@Mummy7777

That's not a positive. My husband just recently had covid and his line was strong and remained strong after 15 mins.
🙄 except multiple people have said they had very faint positives. Luckily OP is taking sensible advice.
PrivateHall · 02/12/2021 14:17

Great news op, fingers crossed for you!

crochetcrazy1978 · 02/12/2021 14:23

My husbands positive lft started like this and got darker each day. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Seee · 02/12/2021 18:24

My ds line started very faint then full on next day before + test.

guineapigs · 02/12/2021 18:30

Mine were very faint positives for around a week and pcr was negative. I didn't have any symptoms.

wolfstarling · 02/12/2021 18:32

I can see it in both tests OP.

Mine started faint and got more pronounced each day day of testing.

nellyburt · 02/12/2021 18:34

Hope your pcr comes back negative OP.

StuckInARug · 02/12/2021 18:38

Still waiting for the PCR results. Will take another LFT before leaving for the airport too just to be on the safe side!

Argh, nightmare OP. Hope you get the PCR soon.

friendlycat · 02/12/2021 18:43

When are you due your PCR results? Hopefully soon.

Maddy456 · 02/12/2021 18:46

Sorry but that’s a positive. The nhs say even a weak line is a positive

SameToo · 02/12/2021 18:47

Fingers crossed!!

FindingMeno · 02/12/2021 18:51

Hoping for a negative.
My lft before my pcr was very bold.

Pinotwoman82 · 02/12/2021 18:52

How stressful for you, hope you get the result soon

Wagsandclaws · 02/12/2021 18:56

Yes that looks positive to me - I wasn't aware the flow flex could produce 'evap' lines.

I had covid and the line was very strong then when I tested 2 weeks after just to see it was white all the way across bar the test line.

I really hope your pcr comes back negative op 🤞

Wingingit15 · 02/12/2021 18:57

Fingers crossed OP

CurlyhairedAssassin · 02/12/2021 18:59

I don't understand why people are so certain it's a negative purely based on the fact that their own positive one was a very strong line. Confused I don't understand what it is with threads like this lately (not just COVID-related). So many people with the attitude of "well, I didn't experience x/y/z like that therefore I proclaim you not to be x/y/z for you." It's like they can't see beyond their own little bubble of life.

For what it's worth, OP, I had COVID in September. I had a positive PCR and had been unwell, but never tested positive on any lateral flows.

CurlyhairedAssassin · 02/12/2021 19:00

But I really hope it's negative for you, OP, and you can go on holiday.

StuckInARug · 02/12/2021 19:12

The clinic says results are sent by midnight…

I think negative personally

BHX3000 · 02/12/2021 19:14

Fingers crossed OP. I really hope it’s negative. Would you be able to use this PCR as your fit to fly then?

I’d be checking my emails non-stop all the way to 23.59 myself, I hope you’re coping better than I would do! Bloody virus…

Caliexpidocioussuper · 02/12/2021 19:19

I couldn’t see it at first until the different filters. I really hope your PCR is negative.

BlowDryRat · 02/12/2021 19:22

Negative I think. Fingers crossed for you!

Cherrydown · 02/12/2021 19:23

Fingers crossed for you, I would say it's positive even though it's very faint. I hope I'm wrong!
