Parliament will have approved the new Regs so it'll be an announcement about masks and reduction in time between second and booster jab.

It'll be about jabs and how the bloody hell theyre going to actually implement what is a considerable change in approach to how boosters are actually dolled out.

I can’t see that anything significant has changed since yesterday. Maybe it will be about how the booster program will work since it seemed to be utter chaos on the nhs booking website yesterday.

I suspect there’s going to be some scaremongering around children to try and coerce those pesky parents who won’t comply with the jab.

Everyone repeating the same jokes on these threads is so painful.

It will be boosters, boosters, boosters, exercise caution and common sense or else you will all ruin Christmas and it will be your fault.

I expect key points will be:

• extended vaccination roll out that we already know about
• Reminder of new rules on masks and recommendation to wear them in more places (although he won't be doing, obviously)
• Reminder about overseas travel rules
• General waffle about being careful and keeping everyone safe to avoid Plan B (with undertone that if we do move to Plan B it's because we are all very naughty boys and girls)
• Self congratulatory bollocks about how well the Government are managing the crisis
