Field 2 mins from house. Massive field, won't be near anyone.

Kids are going crazy. Dogs not been walked for a week.

Can't see the harm when we won't be touching anything or be near anyone?

I would common sense takes precedent over rules in my opinion. The facts are you will see no one therefore the risk is zero. I would be doing exactly the same thing in your situation, 10 days of house arrest to some is the easiest thing in the world to others it is hell, do what you need to do for your child safe in the knowledge you are not putting anyone at risk

It's a public field, absolutely huge. Football fields and dog walking fields.

Well I think when you say “field”, most people think “field”. You know, the ones that sometimes contain livestock or crops.

Playing field is a different thing. That’s where the trespass confusion is coming from.
