PCR test times!

South east, PCR done this am at 08.30 and really really hoping that we get a negative result back before school starts tomorrow

Anyone got any recent times to give me some guidance?

Did one Monday 10.30 results back Tuesday 3am- check emails first

Postal one took around 30 hours.
I was impressed!!

Still waiting on ours. It’s been 26 hours so far.

Bucks; tested yesterday 1pm, results back today at 10.30. (Positive. Bugger.)

SE. Did ours 4:00pm Sunday and results 6am Monday so no school

I had one at 10am last Thursday and the result came through at 4pm on Friday. So it seems to be quite random.

One last week was back in 16 hours (got the results at 1am).

East of England. Tested yesterday at 10am and still waiting.

We tested at 3.15 and got results at 9.15 the next morning.

We don't drive and are miles away from a test centre. Every time the kids are sick the whole process takes about four days as we need to send away for postal tests. Currently waiting after sending tests away on Thursday afternoon and the school has been cross with me about their attendance already .

Feeling very cheered by the quick times, glad I didn't go for the postal option. Having that as your only option sounds very stressful mumblecrumbs.

Home PCR test posted on Thursday lunchtime. Still waiting for results. Phoned and was told they sometimes get lost. Choice now is to get another test done, or to continue to isolate until next Saturday. It's a bit of a disaster as I really needed the results by today :(

I know you’re not supposed to, but in your situation I’d order some tests to have on hand just in case which will cut a day off the process.

Test yesterday at 11am, results today at 2.30am

I did one yesterday morning. Got result this morning within 24 hours.

30 hours and waiting....

West Midlands - test done at 10:30am yesterday and had the negative result this morning at 7:30am

Really quick! I had a spare postal one and sent it off it came back the next morning about 11am

Had ours back at 5:05am this morning after 17hrs!

Had my test at 3pm yesterday afternoon, result at 7am this morning.

And I’m still waiting, almost 35 hours.

Still nothing - 22 hours now.

Two tests done 10.30am yesterday. One back at 10pm, the other at midnight, so very impressed with the speed!
