I haven't been out of my town since march 2020

Drove 4hours for a weekend at a family wedding

I went to Gibraltar in May. It was so long since I had set foot on an airport that I was mega excited (even though I was going to a funeral)

3 weeks ago I drove about 2.5 hours from home and stayed the weekend. Only time I have been out if my area more than about 15 miles since March 2020.

About 4 to 5 hours for a holiday.

9 hour drive to see ill relatives

250 miles to Devon for me.

Road trip in the car from the Midlands through to south of France, over to Switzerland and then back home last summer. It was fab!

Three hours. Why?

We've been to Hertfordshire glousctershire, Dorset, Devon and Wales 😀
And quite a few other places

4 hour drive, several times.

Been to Europe twice and on UK holidays to various places.

Dubai, Portugal, Caribbean, USA.

I had to go to Spain in May 2020 to solve a family problem. Back then the airport in my Spanish hometown was closed, only 5 airports in Spain were open, so I had to fly to Madrid and take the high speed train. There were fewer services and I missed my train and had to wait at the station for hours. Left my home in London at 4am GMT and got to my parents’ in Spain at 9pm CET. Coming back was also via train plus plane but a shorter journey as the connections “worked”.
Since then I’ve travelled to Spain, Italy and Ireland but that one was the longest. And the most stressful as covid-travel was very “new”.

4 hours to Filey. 2.5 hours to Bath. Not major distances and only twice x

Took ds4 to a hospital appointment in nearest city, about 1.5 hours drive away. Nearly had an ambulance ride with ds2 to icu in the same hospital but thankfully he stabilised enough to go to hdu in our local hospital.

Cornwall last summer.

My best friend lives 100 miles away so I went up to see him as soon as it was allowed.

I flew to South America for my job. 13h30 flight. With a toddler and baby. Not fun.

235 miles, was the furthest we went but have had several holidays in Scotland

4 hours drive to visit a friend

Planning to travel to DP’s home country as soon as they remove/reduce quarantine for people coming from the UK. Can’t wait.

About an hour away for a walk. Our family live in a different country.

About 2000 miles…to Malta. Aside from wearing masks and showing our vaccine certs on arrival, everything was pretty much back to normal in the airport.

Live in London. Drove to Scotland for a holiday recently.
