How are the 'Great Reset' conspiracists dealing with regulations coming to an end?

Last year I ended up removing a couple of people from my FB friends because they went full on 'Great Reset' conspiracy mad.

They did believe that COVID existed but thought that it was 'just like the flu' and being used as an excuse to put society under controls which would last forever and was the first step in some kind of global conspiracy.

I always wondered how they would square things to themselves once a vaccine was introduced and the controls were lifted.

Would they admit they'd been wrong (I feel like the answer is definitely not)...

Anyone stayed friends with a conspiracy theorist long enough to know how they're addressing the fact that the controls are coming to an end?

@lightand What’s going to happen?

Oh God, Ivermectin. Of course. When it's shown that it possibly reduces the duration of non-hospitalised illness from 7 days to 5 days in men aged 30 to 45 or something equally underwhelming, it will be like the first heart transplant's been done all over again.

Yes I kept a friends husband as it would have been a bit awkward removing him. He’s been to some protests with his 16yr old son. He believes the pandemic ended last April. Funny how my son and I have it now. He keeps disappearing from Facebook and having any videos have warnings that the information is incorrect, so he’s probably on FB bans.
