How are the 'Great Reset' conspiracists dealing with regulations coming to an end?

wheresmymojo · 06/07/2021 20:26

Last year I ended up removing a couple of people from my FB friends because they went full on 'Great Reset' conspiracy mad.

They did believe that COVID existed but thought that it was 'just like the flu' and being used as an excuse to put society under controls which would last forever and was the first step in some kind of global conspiracy.

I always wondered how they would square things to themselves once a vaccine was introduced and the controls were lifted.

Would they admit they'd been wrong (I feel like the answer is definitely not)...

Anyone stayed friends with a conspiracy theorist long enough to know how they're addressing the fact that the controls are coming to an end?

OP posts:
TheLeadbetterLife · 07/07/2021 00:08

I love how the New World Order are powerful and organised enough to coordinate an entire fake pandemic and vaccination programme, but they’re apparently helpless to stop a bunch of boomers with too much time on their hands openly discussing their “psy-ops” on Facebook.

Do the conspiracists think zuckerberg is some kind of Silicon Valley freedom fighter or something? Sitting at your computer in your home office isn’t exactly the Paris barricades, is it comrades?

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 07/07/2021 00:14

They've bern fairly quiet on my fb for a while

As for the whole they've been right so far. Nah it's a virus and we are in the middle of a global pandemic, I'm not surprised we've been in and out of lock downs and expected that until people were vaccinated . No conspiracy there. Just a government that fanny around and leave every thing until the last minute

AliceLivesHere · 07/07/2021 00:22

@ElephantMoth

Everything that they said has come true, if you think the control is coming to an end then more fool you. The World Economic Forum have set out what is to happen, it's not like they are hiding it.
Oops 😬

@TheVampiresWife

The comic timing there was spot on, *@ElephantMoth* Grin

Well I had to give you something to laugh about

@wheresmymojo

Ooooh...a live one!

What controls will be in place after mid-August that didn't exist pre-COVID?

Omg so funny, cannot stop laughing at the "Oooooh...alive one!' Comment brilliant 👏
Skiptheheartsandflowers · 07/07/2021 00:37

Ah the 5G thing comes up from time to time on my neighbourhood social media site. Hilarious. No off can explain how it actually works or why the NHS and all its staff would go along with hiding this.

@IncessantNameChanger you're right, it's about control. They'd rather think some deranged psychopaths were trying to control us all, than face the fact there is a scary amount we can't control at all.

Beeboopbop · 07/07/2021 00:59

I have one on Facebook. She slings so many theories around then crows with triumph when one vaguely hits the mark Hmm

Many turn out to be absolute bullshit though so she just loses any credibility even if some of her points were valid

Often shares fake documents but when someone points out it's fake... "it might be fake but we all know it's what they're really thinking/ doing anyway"

Apparently there is proof that covid is only transmitted via contact with bodily fluids. The proof? HIV.... that's how HIV is transmitted thus all viruses must be transmitted this way Hmm Hmm

There's also proof that the vaccine is dangerous because they make you wait around for 10 mins after. Apparently they've never had to do that with a vaccine before Hmm

Funny how they made a vaccine so quick when they've not been able to make a vaccine for any other virus... A quick Google would have set her straight on that one.

I swing between finding her bullshit hilarious and actually feeling quite scared about how many people believe this stuff.

The lack of critical thinking is astounding

jumpbounce · 07/07/2021 03:06
@DismantledKing I can only speak for myself but the best outcome for me is to be proved wrong! I'm not trying to prove I'm smarter than anyone else. The 'conspiracy theorists' called each lockdown well before it was announced, i.e. they knew 'freedom by Easter' was a lie. They also called that vaccines would be mandatory for NHS staff and vaccine passports, which haven't been brought into the UK thankfully but have in other countries. Some countries have mandated vaccinations or placed financial penalties on those that refuse.
The lab leak theory is also widely excepted now and there have been more studies done on the use of ivermectin, which was dismissed for a long time but has proven effective in other countries.

I'm not about to say that they are right about everything, misinformation can happen on both sides and has but I just like to look at all the info and try to decide from there. It doesn't help when censorship is at an all time high either, that only fuels more conspiracy theories!

I'm not trying to convince anyone though, just my two cents since the OP asked, although I think she was only asking so she could be rude to said people.
I mean its hardly a conspiracy theory to be able to accurately predict that a pandemic was going to last longer than a handful of weeks?
I in no way follow any conspiracy theories about this great world reset and all the rest but even I and many other realistic people can probably see right now we are likely to see more restrictions (government control or whatever the conspiracy theorists like to call it) as a result of a damn pandemic and people needing access to healthcare in large numbers.

I've have reliably been informed by my CT friend, that the next step is for the foolish vaccinated sheep to die, horribly.

Some Marvelesque infinity stone mass extinction plan. All of the sensible anti vax people then raise up to a higher order.

Seems legit?

Mary1Mary · 07/07/2021 03:46

The WEF is not a talking shop unfortunately.

You’d think they would want to keep this to themselves, rather than risk sharing their glorious post-rapture world with any sheeple.
chickenyhead · 07/07/2021 04:04

The steeple will be dead within 2 years, so we'll, who cares who knows, right?

So yeah. There we are currently, waiting to die.

chickenyhead · 07/07/2021 04:04

Sheeple

Zilla1 · 07/07/2021 07:30

@Beeboopbop IME t's usually confirmation bias.

Zilla1 · 07/07/2021 07:37

@Carrotcakeforbreakfast sorry to hear all that. I wonder if those bonuses your cousin mentioned were the same or different to the payments Drs received for inflating the number of COVID deaths by faking death certificates? I had people tell me evil doctors were in on the conspiracy by faking death certificates for £1000s while ITU and wards were empty. All I see are exhausted HCPs, not HCPs bathing in baths of tenners like Scrooge McDuck.

Lightscribe · 07/07/2021 07:44

Well if you get mainstream publications producing articles of a 2023 roadmap to look forward to;

time.com/collection/great-reset/5900739/fix-economy-by-2023/

Whilst the founder of the WEF (where all the world leaders meet at Davos) also states that things going back to normal is ‘fiction’, can you blame the conspiracy theorists?

DancesWithTortoises · 07/07/2021 07:44

Embarrassing to be that stupid. Too thick to see how thick they are.

WineAcademy · 07/07/2021 07:57

I used to be quite interested in conspiracy theories, until I realised that most people literally can't keep a secret, even if their lives depended on it. Yes, governments cover stuff up, but it's usually small scale, need to know, depts within depts type thing.

I do very firmly believe in the hubris, incompetence and greed of people in leadership positions. They cause enough damage, I don't really worry about some shadowy satanic cult trying to run the world.

Comedycook · 07/07/2021 08:00

@StrangeAddiction

I'm not a CT but i certainly don't believe everything the government tells us is true.

If you think that makes me a nut/loon/CT then that's your opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

Agree. I don't believe we're all being microchipped and that the earth is flat but I also don't blindly believe everything we are told. Vaccine passports were once a conspiracy theory...now it seems we might be allowed abroad with no quarantine if we've been vaccinated...but everyone is so fed up this is viewed as brilliant news rather than as a conspiracy theory come true

I really dislike the current rhetoric that if you challenge anything the government says you're a nutter. When did we get to this place?

CandyLeBonBon · 07/07/2021 08:15

I find the idea that our government is in on a global conspiracy to cover up widescale mass population control hilarious mainly because our government can't even agree what to call a fucking boat.

How anyone thinks they have the logistical, diplomatic and organisational skills to help collude in and coordinate mass population control with several other nations all with equally inflated egos, personal agendas and big mouths is beyond me.

😂

user1493222657 · 07/07/2021 08:19

How is vaccine passport a conspiracy theory? There's a difference between conspiracies and predictions. So much is still unknown about this pandemic. You could predict a lot of things.. doesn't make it a conspiracy. It was pretty obvious that you might need to prove if you have been vaccinated when you travel especially when so many people around the world are still waiting for one and cases are rising and falling in different countries at different times.

Comedycook · 07/07/2021 09:00

The notion of vaccine passports was a ct. At the start people were laughing at the suggestion of them. If they'd been brought in straight away, people would have been up in arms but travel was made so ridiculously difficult that now the tabloid press are celebrating the idea of them

MyCreateIsUsernamed · 07/07/2021 09:04

Op I would answer you but unfortunately Bill Gates is now controlling my every move via the chip in my arm. Soz.

scrambledcustard · 07/07/2021 09:10

Comedycook Fear. People are capable of getting in to line very quick when they are scared to death. Any one stepping across that line will be automatically labelled as a dissenter/dangerous/granny killer. MSM have got a lot to answer for.

What worries me is that every one is so polarised. Your mother classed as in one camp or another and there is no in-between. SM has played a massive part of that.

I dont believe a word the government says, I do believe covid exists, I dont know any one that has died from it but several family members have had it in vary degrees. I think there will be a lot more to this than we would ever know. What worries me the most is the boundaries that were pushed by the government including the apposed law change to stop protesting. This shit is sneaky.

Despite the Gov saying multiple time on TV they were never going to introduce it. Thats where the mistrust lies.

There are people on holiday now with out being vaccinated so why bring it in in the future?
