My son tested positive on Sunday & today I started to feel congested & throat feels scratchy so did lateral flow & it's come back positive! I'm awaiting for a appointment to become available for a PCR. I'm really scared!! I'm overweight....I suffer with health anxiety so as you can imagine I'm absolutely petrified!!

Glad you are doing ok, OP. Just to think to the guidance about whether your husband’s isolation period restarts if a second family members tests positive during the household isolation period for the first person to test positive: no it definitely doesn’t. He just does the 10 days, unless he develops symptoms and gets a positive PCR.
Guidance is on this page and says: “ If other household members develop symptoms during this period, you do not need to isolate for longer than 10 days”

@DadAManger

I know it's scary, but try to stay calm and make yourself a promise that you will - this time - go to hospital if you need it. Don't let your natural tendency to stay away from doctors, jabs or whatever cause you more problems.

I am the same - I tried to stay away from medicine for years and then last year got into a very difficult spot. Trust our excellent nurses and doctors know more than us and get help when you need it now.

Excellent advice
