Not seen one of these for a while

We ate 100 per 100k, a huge increase on last week. We are in a central London borough.

  1. Rising. You know where I am.
laserboy · 20/06/2021 15:23
  1. London, it's been low for a while but just started to rise. Quite a few cases in local schools.
Realitea · 20/06/2021 16:11

87 here. I really thought it would be a lot lower. Good to see 84% of adults have had at least their first jab though. I'm quite glad my second jab is tomorrow after being brought forward by a month!

SummerSaladsAreBack · 20/06/2021 16:54

105 London

Shocking stats on vaccinations though. Only 52% of adults have had one vaccination and only 29% have had two.

I know London rollout has been slow but you do feel the authorities could have tried a lot harder. Availability is generally poor; I have had to try the website multiple times and accept a centre quite a distance away to get an appointment and the same seems to be true for my now eligible adult DC.

FuzzyPuffling · 20/06/2021 17:02

100 and rising.
Cornwall rates have rocketed upwards what with half term and G7.

FuzzyPuffling · 20/06/2021 17:05

@OrangeSamphire

Agree *@GentlemanBurglar*. In St Ives it’s up over 700 per 100k. And 500 per 100k in Falmouth. Both G7 areas.

And yet there is no surge testing despite local demand for it.

Perhaps the government doesn’t want to draw any more attention to a shitty situation they have caused. Businesses are closing down left right and centre as staff are having to isolate.

Before half term and G7 the rate was 2.8 per 100k in Cornwall.

I’m quite furious about it as I’m sure are many others.

Agree. They won't surge test here...hospitality industry and all that.
YetAnotherWalk · 20/06/2021 18:32

39 - on the up from 14 about 3 weeks ago

slalomsuki · 20/06/2021 18:53

East Mids, former hotspot

Purplewithred · 20/06/2021 20:52
  1. 80% first jabs given. Holding my breath.
Titsywoo · 20/06/2021 20:53

We are at 44 which is up from 39 last week - in East Surrey area.

ShowOfHands · 20/06/2021 21:01

Ours is falling too.

doorornottodoor · 20/06/2021 21:04

Yikes 207 Edinburgh. I’m shocked at that although I have heard of a lot of people with it. All young people.

FOJN · 20/06/2021 21:37

Local council 20 per 100k, up from 5 about a week ago.
County 35 per 100k
67% had both jabs

Toddlerteaplease · 20/06/2021 22:41

@NotNowFGS in the last trust briefing from NUH there were only 4 Covid patients though. A few months ago there were 450 in hospital.

80% first dose 66% dose vaccine. North Nottinghamshire

PattyPan · 21/06/2021 09:23

Gosh our vaccine figures are rubbish, 60% first dose, 37% both doses (Berks)

Whatever9999 · 21/06/2021 09:59

Parish area (1 very small town around 4 villages) - 25/100000, grand total of 3 people, been 0-2 for well over a month.

District (large area comprising 1 medium town, 1 very small town and probably 50+ villages) - 23.2/100000 or 32 over 7 days altogether

onemouseplace · 21/06/2021 10:03

London LA - 122 per 100,000 and 52% first dose 31% second dose. Surge testing locally as well.

Crunchymum · 01/07/2021 11:16

Just bumping this to see if there has been any change for anyone?

We're now 192/100k so we've almost doubled in 2 weeks Shock

Vaccinations are still low too. 58% first dose and 32% second dose. Wonder if that explains the number of cases.
