We ate 100 per 100k, a huge increase on last week. We are in a central London borough.

486 in Sefton, seems to be levelling off a bit in our area now.

31/100K here in my US state, going up.

Whereas Florida is at 553/100K.

598/100k and 86% first vaccines- worrying

595, up from 417 a week ago

Hopefully this continues drop continues. However there are still people who have only had one vaccination (particularly the 18-21 year olds) and still some who haven’t had even one of the vaccinations.

679 for the county (Northumberland) but our local area is 128 which equates to between 5 and 9 cases. This is a large rural area so fairly sparsely populated but the North-East as a region is a hotspot.

Yes I think vaccination rates are something that needs better focus. Less than 50% take up in London I find baffling.

In regards to figures I think the fact that schools are off, people are resisting tests in case it messes with holiday plans etc and lack of tests available are more likely the explanation. I would dearly love to be wrong though ! ☺️

My state is now at 70/100k and we are reintroducing masks-wearing in high-transmission countries, in all schools, and around anyone who is unvaccinated or vulnerable.

Still interested to know where in the UK @Conchitastrawberry lives to have such low rates.

367 - Kent. It going down, it was nearly 450 last weekend. 80% first dose and second doses are catching up.

Going down now. 390 per 100K. Was over 600K.

462 now, N Tyneside, a definite downward trend

It’s looking encouraging with hospital admissions also dropping.

This is so reassuring to read. I am desperate to see my UK family and give them a hug.

Kent 352 down just over 200 in 7 days. Still high but definitely moving in right directions.
