Not seen one of these for a while

We ate 100 per 100k, a huge increase on last week. We are in a central London borough.

  1. And still rising. Causing us huge problems at work (nhs) Over 50% staff in some areas isolating...
QueeniesCroft · 19/06/2021 18:21
  1. But 77% of all adults are now fully vaccinated, so I think that may have something to do with it.

37, but a week ago was less than 20. It's shooting up here again.

Gradually creeping up. Very slowly at the moment. We barely have 55% of first doses. Though badly hit previously so we must have done natural immunity. Most people I know have had covid already.

My London trust has less than 30 patients between all 5 hospitals

My borough has only had 1 death since March

SleepingStandingUp · 19/06/2021 18:24

40 and 42, menacing 115 and 110 cases for the two areas I straddle

56% of adults are double vaxxed

bombis · 19/06/2021 18:26

160 on Liverpool. It has been raising steadily last few weeks.

GentlemanBurglar · 19/06/2021 18:26

@OrangeSamphire

100 in 100k in Cornwall after being single / double figures for months.

This amounts to 569 cases. 500 on which have occurred in the last week.

Since G7 summit and half term influx. Brilliant.

Not just that but heavily concentrated in the G7 location of St Ives where the rate / 100k is through the roof, maybe the highest in the country.

Boohooyouho · 19/06/2021 18:29

34 in our outer London boroughs. 13 people admitted to hospital across the three boroughs hospitals this week. Up from 7 last week

Boohooyouho · 19/06/2021 18:30

Also 2 deaths across said three boroughs, up from 0

OrangeSamphire · 19/06/2021 18:31

Agree @GentlemanBurglar. In St Ives it’s up over 700 per 100k. And 500 per 100k in Falmouth. Both G7 areas.

And yet there is no surge testing despite local demand for it.

Perhaps the government doesn’t want to draw any more attention to a shitty situation they have caused. Businesses are closing down left right and centre as staff are having to isolate.

Before half term and G7 the rate was 2.8 per 100k in Cornwall.

I’m quite furious about it as I’m sure are many others.

  1. Up 300% on last week. Northwest. I wish people would stay in their own area rather than coming over here for day trips. Only 9 in hospital though, with two of them in critical care.
Jenasaurus · 19/06/2021 18:36

Crawley - 47 out of 100000, a small rise of 16 cases on last week.

70% of residents have had their first vaccine and 50% have had their second. I only know of a couple of people with COVID now and thats via a third party. Whereas before I knew loads of people (but I work for an ambulance trust so not unspuprising)

Wow so its gone from 2.8 per 100k to 700 per 100k since half term, thats madness
bloodywhitecat · 19/06/2021 18:38

Less than 3 cases in our local area, 19 in the district council area.

Figgyboa · 19/06/2021 18:39

2 out of 100,000 (I live in the us)

DrunkenKoala · 19/06/2021 18:42

41/100000 we’ve been around that for a week now. Keeping fingers crossed we’ve levelled and we’ll start decreasing.
Our vaccination rates are just under 75% first dose and just over 50% for second dose.
Medway, Kent.

Lau52 · 19/06/2021 18:43

77 although also in surge test area due to majority cases being delta variant. Was big out break at my ds school before half term. In Berkshire

Fewer than 50% are fully vaccinated where I am and fewer than 70% have had the first jab.
RaspberryCoulis · 19/06/2021 18:47

Honestly?

I don't know, and I don't care. There are about 130 people in hte whole of Scotland in hospital with Covid (not because of Covid), which compares with 2000 at the end of January and 1500 in April 2020.

So who cares about cases? Irrelevant.

DinosaurOfFire · 19/06/2021 18:50

26 per 100,000 for council, down by 9 from this time last week

My MSOA is 'less than 3'

Swansea area, South Wales.

MadeForThis · 19/06/2021 18:54

SpringRainbow · 19/06/2021 18:55

37, quite surprised. Expected it to be higher.
