I had a moderate reaction to the first one. Exhaustion, sore arm, dizzy, generally unwell. Stayed in bed the next day

If you've have your 2nd was your reaction the same as to your first jab or different?

Wondering whether to plan anything for the day after.

I was in bed for 3 days after the first AZ, and exhausted for a week. I've got my 2nd on Friday so really hoping I'm OK this time!

Update on dh - residual cold symptoms got worse shortly after his jab, at 11am. Came over shivery, that evening. Woke up at his usual time and was a bit tired, though mostly OK by 11am, the day after his jab.

1st had a sore arm and felt 'off' for a few days.
Had second on Sunday and I was fine for 24 hours and then aching all over. Slept loads and I'm in bed with a headache that nothing's shifting and I'm still sore all over.

Cant work out if I'm day 5 or day 6 after 2nd Astrazenica. Anyway it was first thing Thursday morning. After feeling completely normal for first 24 hours I'm still feeling foggy headed and not really self.
(More symptoms this time than after first jab.)

I had my second dose of AZ yesterday morning. I feel completely fine, except for a slightly sore arm, which is exactly the same as I felt after my first dose.

First one - mild headache the first couple of days , somewhat sore arm for about a week or so and very tired the day after ( then again I hadn't slept well the night before so could have been that )

Second . Nothing whatsoever . Though about a week afterwards I developed dizziness only when getting up from bed and sometimes when lying down or turning over quickly in bed. Not sure if is vaccine related as I had a period of suffering from vertigo on and off over a few years In the past. My last bout was about 5 years ago so may just be a recurrence of a milder version of that

I seem to have had things backwards. 1st jab, just a sore arm and felt a bit tired and ‘off’ for 24 hours, but nothing too bad or specific.

Had my 2nd jab on Saturday lunchtime and by bedtime had a really bad headache, painful stinging in all my joints and horrible muscle aches all over.

Woke at 1 am with a fever of 38 (I usually have an issue with a low body temp, so that’s very high for me) and chills so bad I was shaking all over with my teeth chattering. Took paracetamol, struggled to rest/sleep, but eventually dropped off. Woke early, still had the temp, took more paracetamol, then woke late morning with my temp back to normal, stinging pains were gone, but I was still aching and the headache refused to shift.

Stayed in bed all day, napped, took cocodamol for the headache as paracetamol wasn’t cutting it and by teatime everything but the headache had gone and that only came back when the painkillers wore off. By Monday I was ok, just really exhausted.

I’m still exhausted today, but I do have an underlying health issue which causes chronic fatigue, especially after any illness or stress.

Oh, oddly, my arm has been getting more sore as the days go on. Didn’t hurt at all on Saturday, but is now bloody painful.

Dh was the same as me for the first jab and absolutely fine after the second.

I felt a bit grim after the first and had a week of headaches. Fine after second, except for slightly sore arm.

Had 2nd AZ yesterday morning, just felt a bit groggy overnight this time but have got an elevated heart rate again like last time, it's about 90 instead of my usual sitting down rate of 60-70, it feels okay though, I only know this by my Apple Watch so maybe many have this but wouldn't know if they didn't wear a smart watch.

Fine! My arm was sore for a couple of days but that was it.
