How did you feel after 2nd AZ jab?

I had a moderate reaction to the first one. Exhaustion, sore arm, dizzy, generally unwell. Stayed in bed the next day

If you've have your 2nd was your reaction the same as to your first jab or different?

Wondering whether to plan anything for the day after.

1st - sore arm ,headache, tired,a bit nauseous for a day or 2
2nd - absolutely nothing

1st - sore arm, tired, felt slightly feverish
2nd - sore arm but felt absolutely fine in myself

First - I felt really tired, bit achy, and fortunately was on a non-working day so mostly was in bed. Lasted about a day and a half.

Second - totally fine. Arm was hardly even sore.

Definitely looks like that’s the pattern, from the responses here!

DH had nothing after both doses, was absolutely fine.

I had fluey symptoms about 10 hours after my first one, disturbed night feeling hot and cold and felt washed out the following day. I said that if it had been a work day I wouldn't have logged on. Absolutely nothing after my second one, just a minor soreness on my arm which didn't even last a day.

1st: Felt extremely tired and achy for a couple of days.

2nd: I felt fine. Not even a sore arm.

The reverse of my mother who had Pfizer.

I felt as if I’d been run over by a bus after the first one for almost exactly 12 hours. 2nd yesterday & feel achey & tired today but a very much scaled down version of previous reaction. Horrible taste in my mouth & really sore arm after both though.

1st - shivery and feeling flu-y for 24 hours with a bad headache and sore arm for a few days.

2nd - woke up the next day at 6am with a bad headache which paracetamol got rid of. That was it. Didn't even have a sore arm.

I was fine after the second though my arm was sore. I was a bit drained and felt a bit ill for 2 days after the first.

Feeling really shaky today - 4 days after Astra Zeneca (Thursday) . Felt fine day of vaccine. Not even sore arm. Next couple of days : some nausea and upset stomach then dizziness.
Today feel quite teary, difficult to concentrate. Headache. Just not self at all.

Felt fine after first vaccine.

It seems like this is quite unusual way round (?)

I also still feel unwell five days on. Wiped out and slightly achey, as I would feel if I was coming down with a virus.
I have autoimmune disease so my system does react to things, but my friend who is the same was fine after the second dose. I am fed up now.

First one gave me 24 hours of flu like symptoms

Second was absolutely fine

I had insane symptoms after the second vaccine. Tingling and pins and needles in all finger tips and lower legs. If I crossed my legs they would go numb in about 20 seconds. I also had a huge burst of energy about 6 hours after the jab, and was on a high, starting a big piece of work in the office at 5pm on a Friday Grin

Sadly I woke up the next morning completely back to my sluggish normal state Grin

@Lemons1571 I also felt this numb aching feeling in my left leg pretty much a hour after getting the vaccine but I actually put it down to my anxiety playing up so didn’t think much of it and didn’t link it to the vaccine at all 😂

I had literally zero side effects after both. Nothing at all. Feel very lucky.

Very tired the day after both no 1 and no 2 - had to nap, and even then I struggled to keep my eyes open. Fine the day after that.

1st sore arm for a few days, and felt disorientated for about 12 hours.

Had my second yesterday and have a slight sore arm today,

I had my second one on 02/06 and I've been fine so far.
I did find that my arm is slightly more sore this time than last, it's still noticeable now after 5 days, but seems to be easing off.

My husband had his 2nd on 01/06. He had the usual sore arm and felt a bit dizzy and tired for the next day or two. All fine now.

First one - injection area was sore, red and swollen and stayed that way for weeks.

Second - very mild soreness in arm for one day.

That's it.
