How did you feel after 2nd AZ jab?

I had a moderate reaction to the first one. Exhaustion, sore arm, dizzy, generally unwell. Stayed in bed the next day

If you've have your 2nd was your reaction the same as to your first jab or different?

Wondering whether to plan anything for the day after.

Headache, tiredness and some fever for a couple of days after the first, and a sore arm for about 10 days.

2nd one nothing, not even the sore arm.

DH was feverish after his first, fine after 2nd but he has a sore arm still (had it last Thurs)

1st one - awful for 3 days. Headache. Neck ache. Nausea. Lethargy. Dizziness.

2nd one yesterday - mild head and neck ache. Extreme tiredness. Woke up this morning fine.

1st jab - fine, a bit tired and minor headache
2nd jab - much the same. I have my period and it is heavier maybe, but also maybe not, as I can get that sometimes anyway. Also feel a bit tired and nauseous, but this could be anything really. I had mine on Thursday.

Oh sore arm with first, much less so with 2nd

Same as you OP after first. Nothing after second, I was completely fine. Slightly sore arm but I could lie on it.

No reaction at all, not even a sore arm. Starting to think that injection was empty 😂

1. Really unwell for 24 hours, body aches, headaches, dead arm and then tired for a week.
2. Tired for a day and a sore arm.

1st.. very poorly in bed for over a week. Unexplained bleeding from gums, nose bleeds etc..flagged up and yellow carded by gp. Advised against 2nd pending a battery of further tests

2nd jab....poorly in bed for 3 days. Ongoing headaches, dizziness, nausea and horrendous tinnitus, onset within 48 hours of the jab. Never had it before.

In my 40s, healthy and on no medication. I'm done. Never again.

I woke up at 2am the night after my first AZ with a horrific nosebleed which took ages to stop. I felt absolutely dreadful for three days and had another three nosebleeds, though not as bad as the first one. I have rheumatoid arthritis and I had a huge flare which lasted for weeks, not sure if it was coincidence. Also fever, awful aches and pains and nausea for four days. It was horrible.

Just had my second this morning and keeping everything crossed it m spared this time around!

Rotten for a couple of days after first with vertigo for the following 8 weeks!!
Absolutely nothing but slightly sore arm after 2nd dose!

Had a bad day after the first, nothing after the second.

Well my jab was yesterday morning and if anything I've had more energy than usual! I've cleaned the whole house, decluttered some junk and been for a swim.

I was very ill after the first one. Second one, quite a sore arm, fatigue and a headache. I took 2 paracetamol before going to bed, woke up still feeling tired but head was better. Arm still sore after the second day. Definitely for me, not as bad as first one-that was awful.

I am still feeling rubbish four days on. Totally fed up now.

My OH had a nosebleed after the second jab.

I had my second jab on Thursday and felt absolutely fine. My arm wasn’t even very sore. I took Friday off just in case though but I could have gone to work.

Absolutely horrendous for 48 hours and then I was fine thankfully.

Fine.
First - just tiredness first evening. Sore arm.
Second - not even that and arm less sore too.
Anecdotally - most I’ve heard from (all Az) say similar. Those who had worse reactions first time around have reported less second time.

I was really quite poorly for 24 hours after my first (flu like symptoms and couldn’t get out of bed/warm up) but absolutely fine after my 2nd

1st jab.. run down and arm ached few days and on off headaches.
2nd... nothing just slight arm ache

First one a bit hot overnight and tired the next day. Second one nothing at all.

Glad it went well op, I put my second off so I could relax over half term now I'm gearing up to have it.

First: 24h feeling rough (fever, chills, headache), another 24h feeling a bit grotty, then after that about four days of painful arm and dodgy stomach

Second was four days ago. So far, have had a couple of days of fatigue, very mild stomach discomfort, slightly sore arm.

Husband had minimal reaction to his first and has felt pretty rough after his second but he does concurrently have a cold which won’t help.

First dose, a temperature and headache for 48 hours. Second AZ jab, absolutely nothing. I'm female in my 40s.

Better than the first, felt a bit groggy but nothing awful. I was relieved and grateful to have had it and at the three week anniversary when I should have been out celebrating, there was talk of a third wave. Still v grateful.

1st dose, headache next day and sore arm for 5 days.
Husband was terrible..temp of 40 degrees, sweats, shivers for 48 hrs.

I've had 2nd 16 hours ago. Sore arm but nothing else - yet. DH has his next week...
