I desperately need to know. Of course we won't until they tell us, but what are your thoughts?

Very mixed opinions in the media. Lots of advice to delay but Boris saying there's nothing he can see that would make us deviate from the roadmap.

@SonnetForSpring

Absolute morons. Arguing with facts. Good luck! It wont help you or any of us.
Calm down honestly. The data is being assessed, whether you get irate or not.

What restrictions do you want atm?

NannyAndJohn · 03/06/2021 19:47

@MarshaBradyo

Sonnet What do you want to do atm anyway?

What level of restrictions?

It's clear that we need to roll things back to how they were before the May unlocking, at the very least.
tobee · 03/06/2021 19:47

Your screenshot is illegible. Maybe try again?

SonnetForSpring · 03/06/2021 19:48

I don't know, that's for the scientists to decide with their modeling. I just want to avoid another lockdown and having schools closed. I do not want a repeat for the 3rd time.

SonnetForSpring · 03/06/2021 19:49

The data has been suppressed! Not assessed

tobee · 03/06/2021 19:49

I think people on social media think that their comments have more weight than they do.

Resorting to insults is classy.

No it will be assessed after the four weeks as planned

What has been suppressed?

SonnetForSpring · 03/06/2021 19:54

Search public health risk assessment covid 3rd june on Google

SonnetForSpring · 03/06/2021 19:54

Marsha the data has been suppressed. The government haven't realised the data on schools yet. Keep up.

You’re overestimating your involvement somewhat. The people who need all the data to decide will have it.

You’re panicking, and insulting people, which is going to do diddly squat expect make the next couple of weeks fraught.

tobee · 03/06/2021 20:00

Yes but I'd be changing tack and go on about school data suppression to distract for basically suggesting people are psychopaths.

Needanewhat · 03/06/2021 20:03

Personally I'd be giving parents who want to keep their kids off school the option to do so for the next couple of months without either a fine or losing the school place.

Schools are a major source of spread at the moment.

Needanewhat · 03/06/2021 20:04

My son is home educated but usually attends a forest school once a week with schooled children. He won't be going to that until the numbers start coming down again.

SonnetForSpring · 03/06/2021 20:05

Marsha, you are daft. Nothing more to say to you. Naive beyond belief. Keep on trusting Hancock. Good luck with that.

More scientists with data

But you go with your scathing posts

Needanewhat · 03/06/2021 20:06

Marsha, all the scientists with data are pretty concerned from what I can see.

SonnetForSpring · 03/06/2021 20:06

I'm not panicking. I'm unbelievably frustrated that we are going to repeat the same mistakes again because no one trusts experts!

SonnetForSpring · 03/06/2021 20:08

Not sure why you all put so much energy into denying the inevitable! You're just making it worse for yourselves and the rest of us.

SonnetForSpring · 03/06/2021 20:09

Anyway. I'm off. You'll have to catch up eventually.

Not much energy here! Just batting off the insults.

Not making it worse Confused

Anyway you seem convinced that the process of data collection for four weeks and analysis for one is the wrong way to go - wrote to an MP or something, or Whitty

MarshaBradyo · 03/06/2021 20:10

Write..

tobee · 03/06/2021 20:11

How are we actually making it worse? You're over estimating your, and everyone else here's involvement.

The experts (SAGE) put of 5 scenarios for hospitalizations as we opened up and that was before the super duper delta variant.... we are currently below every one of them including their best case scenario...
