Those involved in other vaccine trials also welcome.

I’ve just had a (probably useless) ‘vaccination record card’ through the post. Has anyone else received this?

The covered up part has my name and date of birth.

Yes, I assume so! I also have the A4 one. This is more the size of a postcard - it’s not going to fit in my purse, but is definitely more practical to cart about than the other one!

I got a reply from the MHRA. Useless.

Just been looking at the NHS jvt letter thing that we got and tbh that's the best thing we have and says 'confirmation of fully vaccinated status' in bold!
If the covid police try and tell me to isolate as a close contact it is this that I'll be screenshotting and sending them!

Scottish people including @Torvean is bloody ridiculous that you guys don't have the same domestic status.

I’m glad you noticed that, *@Torvean*! They found it necessary to explain the date format on the compliment slip, although I’m not entirely sure their rationale makes sense

I've had an email to expect one of those. They really compare to an app on the phone don't they??

I remember them making a point of asking us to date our paperwork the American way.

@Frazzled2207. I signed mine the normal way as did the Dr's. I had to resign paperwork once though as I hadn't entered the date in the way they wanted me too.

Funnily enough and just checked my original novavax certificate and on there the dates are the “uk” way.

I haven't had one either. I did confirm I wanted to withdraw but no one ever responded and I haven't been unblinded.

@andadietcoke I got sent a link from my clinic. It said we'd all get one of those by the 19th Sep and it will have a Principle Investigors name on it.

I'm dreading if my paperwork says April as I was sure I had the vaccine in October. But I had a reaction after the 2nd crossover vaccination... so could be interesting.

Yeah I was under the impression everyone would be by the end of the trial (12 months)
I wouldn’t expect to be unblinded by being a random novavax certificate though! Happy to be proven wrong there

I’ve just had my second moderna

Worried about what side effects are coming, they weren’t that bad last time but have heard it’s worse second time with this one

Very low tech system at pharmacy that def did not have access to my wider medical records

Hopefully in a fortnight I’ll have full “status”.

Very sad about the whole thing really esp about having to lie (again) and acting against medical advice

But I bought shares in novavax so still hoping it makes it - eventually

I've just had a reply from the ppl that are supposed to upload our data. They're saying they can't due to Novavax not being licenced.

I'm pretty pissed off

@Frazzled2207 hope you're okay. I'm due mine on the 24th and dreading it after dose 1. Sorry you had to lie again. I didn't last time but I 100% will be for the second one because I just want it done.

Thanks. I’m pleased it’s now done tbh so side effects now out of my control and am now “fully vaccinated” minus two weeks! Had been umming and ahhing about delaying this weeks and feeling relieved now albeit worried about what’s coming tomorrow.

Where are you going? I went to a pharmacy in woodley and wouldn’t recommend it. Had to queue in the drizzle for half an hour despite having an appointments.
And nobody- not even the hcps- were wearing masks
My vaccinator wanted to refuse me because she didn’t believe it had been 8weeks (it was exactly 8 weeks) and had to get a paper diary out!

Haha! That's exactly where I'm booked. It was at Handforth Dean Boots but after my first one I moved it so it was on a Friday. I'll see how you get on and then maybe move it.

honestly I would change and go to handforth Dean if the timings are doable. I’m sure that will be enormously more civilised.
Forgot to say there was an actual fight going on outside when I left the pharmacy. Police were arriving. I don’t think it was over vaccine but who knows. I scarpered off quickly.

Bit daft but the same vaccinators were doing Pfizer and Moderna (poss az as well, not sure). I did think how easy it might have been to put the wrong one in if they’re dealing with several- when I volunteered in vaccine centres different people were doing different vaccines so as not to get it wrong and there are slightly different protocols with each. I didn’t manage to actually check what went in but her computer said clearly Moderna so that’ll hopefully be what goes on my record
