My Disney evidence has been approved so that's a massive relief. I think for now I'll wait and see what happens with the app 'at the beginning of July'. If nothing in the travel section then that's proof to the trial that we are being disadvantaged and I can't see how they can argue that we shouldn't get an approved vaccination.

@andadietcoke that’s right, I’m sure I only had the ‘actual’ vaccine in April/May. My November/December visits I suspect were a placebo. I’ve deduced this from the symptoms after my final jab.

Bad (?) news this end is that I’ve just had an email saying our flights to Spain in august been cancelled. For the third time. So all a bit less urgent my end now as now very unlikely to need to travel anytime soon.
Tbh with the likely testing regime etc we were unlikely to go anyway. But at least it’s now not going to be “my fault” we’re not going. Luckily we had a nice UK holiday earlier this month which felt very lucky (weather wasn’t bad either!).

I think they won’t explicitly tell us to, as from a liability POV that could be very tricky.
But it might become quite clear that we have to make our own decisions one way or another. 😡

Oh no @Frazzled2207 what was the reason for the flights? Yes, like you say, less pressure on you and no testing dramas etc, but I really had hoped things would be getting back to normal in a couple of months. Dare to dream...

No reason given but have heard Easyjet are relocating planes and crews to the continent for the summer as travel a lot easier there at the moment. Blaming Boris.

I got a letter this morning but I am not sure it takes me any further than the sheet I was handed at the clinic. As others have said there is no knowing which jab was the vaccine and boosters may become an issue soon.

Could Stockport people please say when you get your letter through? I never got any of the new address labels for the testing kits, so I have very low expectations for this letter actually showing up! Still, as Evenstar said, I’m not sure it’s going to be any more use than the handy ‘pocket-sized’ card we’ve already got.

@Frazzled2207 and others who were on trials, I just noticed on the trials email this comment: "A letter is being issued to all participants to confirm this, which can be used for domestic purposes in the short term. By the end of July 2021, all clinical trial participants should be able to demonstrate COVID status through the same routes as people who have had their status captured through the deployed vaccine rollout (e.g. for those resident in England the NHS App and other routes for Devolved Administrations). Find out more about vaccine passports and the‘COVID Pass’on the Gov.uk website."
So hopefully you'll get put on the app in the next 5 weeks as it promises.

DH is going to the drop in clinic in Brinnington this afternoon to see if he can get his second Pfizer jab. They've got 9 cases at school so he'd rather be fully vaccinated. He's under instructions to ask them what would happen if I turned up and was fully transparent.

My DH has just come back from Hazel Grove and is very pleased that he’s now double jabbed. He’s trying to persuade me to go and get done, and the fact that it’s Moderna makes it so very much more tempting. (I’m over 40, so would be getting AZ otherwise. The risk/benefit balance is in favour of AZ in my age group because the risk from COVID is higher than the risk of complications. But my COVID risk is presumably low, because I’m already vaccinated, so I would think that swings the balance back the other way, especially with the unknown risks from having two sets of jabs.)

I’d like to know what they say in Brinnington about if you were transparent!

sorry is there any further updates there since the 11th June? I can't see any but obviously there are a lot of questions on there.

I am within walking distance of the Hazel Grove site and so tempted to go and get the Moderna that they seem to be happy to give out to anyone that turns up.

I still have no letter from Stockport site but have a message asking for my NHS number so that they can do the uploading of info when required.

good luck to your DH! I was going to send my DH along but he's had to go away this weekend. He fortunately has an appointment for next week anyway though.

I've just emailed them with NHS details chasing up this letter as they said it would be posted this week.

According to someone on the facebook group as of 1st july our status will be showing on the NHS app as 'exempt' i.e. for entry to any trial events. Bit insulting but this is a temporary measure so that nobody gets declines entry to football/wimbledon etc.

But then the following week they are going to start showing us as fully vaccinated. Blackpool site first apparently as they are doing one site at a time.

I thought this but may be post 11 June?? I don’t know….I can’t keep up! I just keep living in hope, every time the goal posts get moved!
