Anyone not having vaccine , why aren't you?

Is anyone not having the vaccine and what are your reasons? Im in my 30s I'm not having the vaccine because I'm worried about the long term effects that might not come to light for a few years. Why are you not having it?
If you think the vaccine is amazing and anyone not having it is selfish you probably don't need to comment.

The elderly and vulnerable have been vaccinated before us. They were prioritised because they are most at risk.

Yes I have had my vaccines because I am not selfish like many, but this summer I plan on going on holiday with my husband on a cruise . Although the cruise is vaccinated people only, there is always the risk of running into a selfish/ unvaccinated person between setting off and getting to the ship so why should people who have made sacrifices such as myself and my husband who have had the vaccine have to worry about the anti vaxxers?

Pleased to hear and I agree it should be free choice but ultimately if people refuse then I'm sorry but it should be mandatory. We have to remember the dangers of covid and new variants. If anyone chooses not to have it then they should be barred from public buildings/ transport etc until they come to their senses

I thought early evidence suggested that it did to a degree. Certainly the reduction of cases especially in the older age groups in dramatic.
In my area I haven't seen a single case in older age groups in weeks

Re catching and passing on.

I put my details into www.qcovid.org and came up with a risk of death from covid of 1 in almost 60,000.

It's probably lower than that in reality, given I don't work in a hospital or care home, or use public transport, or work in a public facing role, so have lower than average odds of catching it.

Risk of VITT with the AZ is higher than that, plus I have read all the published data on the vaccines, and there's too much emerging information on the risk of the spike protein causing thrombosis for me to want to risk an mRNA vaccine with unknown long term side effects.

On top of that, nobody has been able to show any data to reassure me that ADE won't be an issue 2-3 years down the line with any of the vaccines. Where are the animal data on this? Why haven't they been shared?

How dare you! I don't threaten anyone with hell but I know where people who refuse the vaccine end up. It isn't my decision where people go after death but those that risk lives through their selfishness will not be going to heaven

This is absolute lunacy. Everyone is doing what they think is best - I don’t agree with anti-vaxxers but they’re making a choice based on what’s best for them. I can’t imagine there’s many of them not getting it to deliberately infect vulnerable people. You need to cop on.

You will soon change your tune when the time is nigh, I have had my vaccine doing my bit for society but for those that don't.. Jesus gave his life for our sins yet people are too selfish to take a vaccine to save lives of the vulnerable and old. Do you think God will allow those sort of scumbags into his kingdom? If people had done their bit, my husband and I would be able to enjoy our holiday this year but it seems the selfish have put a stop to that!

My brother went to heaven when he passed away with covid last year, and I look forward to seeing him but I will not be sent there any sooner by the anti vaxxers !

My Mum died last year and was re-integrated into the great cosmos. One day in the future maybe our energies will cross.

I'm not having the vaccine just yet, because of legitimate medical concerns. I will act with caution for as long as appropriate or, if some get their way, be shunned forever.

I really don't think you're going to be seen off soon by my choice, nor that of other similar people.

Herd immunity is going exceptionally well apparently.

Hope you have a lovely holiday although I think it a little unfair that you can have one when so many people can't. But I don't judge you, nor will I wish to see you denied your much needed R&R.
