Is anyone else still getting their DC to change clothes when they get home from school?

Just that, really. I can't work out whether I'm being ridiculous and storing up mental health issues for my poor kids in the future, or just being sensible. I am already feeling like I've mucked this up and scarred them for life, so please don't tear strips off me, but I'd be really grateful for a quick straw poll.

No - it didn't occur to me and tbh it's enough of a battle getting him to change twice a day. Just hand washing when he gets home. I change my own clothes the minute I get in from work and it all gets washed. Separate shoes/coat etc for work and home.

Nope never did. I have enough washing without them having 2 outfits a day

Nothing to do with covid. Mine change when they come home as they don't like wearing the uniform and then I can wash it and they can muck about carefree in the muck etc outside.

Yes but always have done, started this in reception. . They wash their hands and get changed as soon as they get in.

I always tell DD to change out of her uniform when she gets home from school, even before covid. She can be very messy.

Yes, absolutely.
