The weather is crap

We are being primed for a screeching halt to the roadmap

Lovely sunny foreign holidays off the agenda for the foreseeable

We got through a long, hard winter for this ? So fed up.

@unwuthering

Am I terrible if I get flu and kill granny?

Christ, what an ugly sentiment.

Yes, but that is what people are saying?

What a lot of miseries. I'm cock-a-hoop, had a lovely lunch with DH yesterday and the rest of this week's gonna be mega. I even enjoyed the weird weather yesterday (from inside)

Well i walked along a sunny beach today, the weather in west of Scotland is lovely.
Wont last....

icelollycraving · 18/05/2021 18:59

I’m glad you had a lovely walk, and that others have had lunches out, hugs and are happy. Truly.

A lovely dry day is very very rare in this part of Scotland. I mean, it did rain but only ONCE. Thats a summers day here Grin

I expect this week is our summer.

@icelollycraving, totally agree what you said above about another lockdown.

I put it down to the weather.

This time last year, shielding was still in full force, and even daily exercise was not advised (that didn't change until June)

There is loads more open, and very few restrictions on what you can do outdoors. Even with variant concerns, this ought to be a time to enjoy. And it's the crappy weather that's making all the difference for the worse

@AnyFucker

I have turned into such a fucking moaner. I am sick of myself.
Your moans are the main reason I come on to Mumsnet. They are normally pithy to the point, and inevitably accurate.
AnyFucker · 18/05/2021 19:24

Very kind, but I didn’t use to be so bloody negative Sad
