'Vaccine passport ' now on NHS app

OP posts:
Watapalava · 19/05/2021 18:21

Anyone’s vaccine not showing? Dh has managed to set up account but his March dose isn’t showing and 119 just said they’re having tech issues and leave a few days

Whilst I expect that may explain missed doses this week I’m not hopeful it’ll explain his missing March dose given my Monday one is showing already

BentBastard · 19/05/2021 23:13

My dose yesterday was showing this morning so that does sound odd.

PuzzledObserver · 22/05/2021 14:13

The Covid status bit is now saying 2D barcode expiration date is 20th June. I’m guessing the change is as a response to queries from people who were as confused as me. And that if I log on after 20th June, it will generate a new 2D barcode.

Roystonv · 22/05/2021 14:39

Really sorry completely confused by this. We get our repeat prescriptions by emailing the surgery. We have not signed up to one of the prescription etc management providers as we share an email address and that was not acceptable. Are you talking about these companies?? We don't have mobiles so how does it work online.

PuzzledObserver · 22/05/2021 14:46

People are talking about the NHS app which is available on iPhone or Android. If you don’t have a mobile you would need to ask for a letter by ringing 119.

Big Brother Watch interview re vaccine passports:

Suranjeep · 22/05/2021 16:30

I saw this on YouTube the other day, but dont have this app I'm surprised that this kind of thing is on there...I'm not saying that Talk Radio are wrong - after all they are Ofcom regulated so have to stick to certain broadcast standards etc.

FloralJammies · 22/05/2021 17:41

@RaspberryCoulis

Scotland left behind.

Again.

There is one for Scotland. I was on it today.

The NHS spells my first name wrong (think Lucy instead of Lucie, though that isn't my name). Always has and no matter how many times I tell them to change it, they don't. So my vaccine record doesn't precisely match my passport. I can see this causing me a problem!

Watapalava · 23/05/2021 15:26

I’m so angry with this app as im getting nowhere fast!

Dh has his first vaccine March

He couldnt bring his second forward as needed because his first wasn’t showing as being done so they kept prompting to him to book both vaccines

Rang 119 and no joy

Turned up at vacc site and they did his second there and then and say they’d submitted details and that they’d now show on app

Several days later it wasn’t on app or gp record (site said if it doesn’t show in 48 hours then it won’t show and there’s likely an issue)

Rang site again and they said they’d resubmit all details and now 3 days later nothing still showing on gp record or on the nhs app

119 just ring the site but nothing is actually getting fixed

We need it for end of the month holiday. He can’t even get paper record as no record with 119 or go that he’s had both doses but site say they’ve done everything right!

I’m constantly getting ‘it’s sorted wait 3 days)

It’s been 3 x now

Any help?!

EasterIssland · 25/05/2021 18:56

I get CID7021 error :(

Wigeon · 25/05/2021 19:29

Anyone with errors in your vaccine record - you need to contact your GP and ask them to get ot sorted. GPs have been given guidance as to what to do here.

Topseyt · 25/05/2021 21:11

@EasterIssland

I need to send my passport pic. Have had the app for weeks but haven’t done it
You don't need your passport pic for the NHS App. Just your name, address, date of birth. If possible your NHS number, but that is not essential either.

I needed photo id on sunday when i downloaded the app, but i just photographed it and uploaded. I then had to scan my face so it could compare.

Topseyt · 25/05/2021 21:20

Odd. It didn't ask me for any photo ID at all.

Yes I had to do the same when I downloaded it a few weeks ago
Watapalava · 25/05/2021 21:36

Thanks so much wigeon for the link that’s really helpful

Apparently ID is required when the phone you have downloaded the app on isnt registered with the GP as your contact number

Weird . As that’s the one I’ve my gp with , they sent me a text for the vaccine. I’ll give them a call tomorrow anyway thanks all!
Alternista · 25/05/2021 22:30

I started a week ago, got to the photo ID bit and couldn’t be arsed so gave up.
Just did it again and straight in with no photo ID needed! All other details the same, v strange.

NeverForgetYourDreams · 25/05/2021 22:57

@kindlekeeper

I have the app but have an error saying gp has to give permissions. Gp doesn’t have any idea so I’m stuck being approved but gp records not accessible. Anyone else resolved this?
Husband had some codes from doctors to input. Still doesn't work. Not sure why as mine working straight away and we at same practice
choirmumoftwo · 25/05/2021 23:03

My first vaccine dose is on but not the second, which I had on 15th April. Any idea why?

EasterIssland · 26/05/2021 09:22

Arggghhh App says error, contact your GP.
Gp says nothing we can do to help you. however, she's mentioned that I can go and they can set me up an online services (exactly the same thing my app is complaining about) so hoping that it's. ii need the app for traveling, sure they should have let the gp surgeries know what needs to be done!

Been to the gp today and asked for my online services for the gp to be activated.

Came home and checked the app and I can see both my vaccines! :)

Watapalava · 01/06/2021 21:15

That’s great! Such a relief isn’t it

Watapalava · 01/06/2021 21:16

Ours fixed too

Not sure who fixed it as I complained to so many people 🤣
