Anyone had their first vaccine this week?

If you've had your first dose this week, what did you have?

Just interested as at one stage they were saving some of the Pfizer/AZ for second doses and will need some of the Moderna for 18-30. I know we'll get extra deliveries though.

AZ yesterday. Felt quite fluey overnight, fine today apart from sore arm but now feeling rough again with heacahe and body aches.

My sister in law had AZ yesterday. She felt a bit rough but is feeling a bit better.

AZ yesterday. Feel a bit ropey today but my toddler has had a cold since the weekend and has been wiping his nose on my face regularly so it's not necessarily the vaccine lol.

Had AZ yesterday, I'm 43. Sore arm and tired/ achey and a bit cold since this morning.

Yes both me (49) and DH (47) had ours (AZ) yesterday morning!
Must say am delighted and relieved
Aching started after - arms / top of legs / torso then felt v v cold (DH felt hot!)
Went to bed early, during the night a bit nauseous and got a headache- today in bed aches nearly all gone but I fell really lethargic.
My DM and DF (78) had no side effects!!

Am glad I was off work today.

Gosh it seems like the majority are feeling side effects in this age group ... from a little bit under the weather to completely shite! Worried now as have a busy week next week, although I guess there'll never be a good time to be out of action so will just crack on. Will do the paracetamol thing.

I’m 45 and had az yesterday. I felt a bit shivery yesterday so went to bed early and woke with a bit of a fever around 4, but not unpleasantly so, had paracetomol and was ok today. Bit woozy but coffee and a shower sorted me out and was fine at work and even did a reformer Pilates class. Pleased to have had it.

SW London, had the AZ yesterday (I’m late 40s). Woke up feeling shocking - shivering, freezing cold, aching, knackered. Had to take the day off work but I’m feeling almost back to normal now.
