Follow-on to the happy thread: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/coronavirus/4210673-Can-the-40-49-age-group-now-book-their-vaccine.

(I'm jabbed, but just here to read happy news of jabs and try to book DH when it's his time.)

@DobbyTheHouseElk

Ignore the front page. Enter your details and see. I tried this morning and nothing, this afternoon it’s let me book. 43.
Husband is 43 and not allowed :(
ExpulsoCorona · 22/04/2021 20:34

I wonder if it's people born in 1977 and earlier because my recently turned 43 year old DH can't book.

Marjoriesdoor · 22/04/2021 20:37

I try the website several times a day. I think I will spontaneously combust when it finally lets me choose an appointment. So still no vaccine but at least I will die happy.

Slayduggee · 22/04/2021 20:37

I’m 40 and can’t book yet

freeez · 22/04/2021 20:41

I'm 43, 1977, can't book yet.

Iremembertheelderlykoreanlady · 22/04/2021 20:44

My sister and BIL have had calls from their GP and are now booked in to have 1st vaccine. 37 and 39. Yorkshire

Delatron · 22/04/2021 20:45

I am 45 in a few weeks. Maybe it’s year by year?

jay55 · 22/04/2021 20:51

44 was able to book both, though had to book at different site for second. I'm in east london.
Thanks so much for the tip-off.

Those managing to book what date are you booking your second dose for ? Husband is 43. We’re flying in the 15th of July ... unsure whether we’re going to need to delay the holiday ... I think we might crash with the second dose ?

That's fantastic news!

Other 43 year olds, when they opened the 45-49s it seemed to take all night to load, DBIL got in in the early hours of the morning (up with toddler), so might be worth trying once more just before bed. It doesn't look like 40-42 are getting a look-in yet, but all progress is good.

freeez · 22/04/2021 21:00

Once more before bed? I'm trying every minute now Grin
