So many talking about how this is the great reset, how this doesn't stop until we say it does and how we are never coming out of lockdown etc.
Think they are going to feel a bit stupid over the coming weeks!

But the U.K. is not China. Our political class may be increasingly venal and selfish, but they want us to have bread and circuses, not a miserable life.

You are failing to grasp that capitalist interests are now much stronger than many nation states. The UK is now largely a brand. Its why we left the EU and its why we will end up up with a two tier digital technocracy by stealth. The 'digital commons' are not givernable by a nation state, especially one so Liberal and laissez-faire.

I’d never heard of Sabbatean Frankism. So this is basically the Jewish satanism/Alistair Crowley?

Cornettoninja · 07/04/2021 11:29

@noblegiraffe

Do your research

Or you could just answer the question. What is it you think all the world leaders are going along with?

Was that from my post? That was an attempt at sarcasm/light heartedness referencing comparisons to fiction - the TV show ‘Utopia’.
noblegiraffe · 07/04/2021 11:31

Sorry, Cornetto I read your post as if it was a response from divided

I'd like to know what she thinks the world leaders are all going along with because from where I'm standing it all looks like a chaotic mess.

noblegiraffe · 07/04/2021 11:34

A quick google threw up the David Icke forum where they're talking about merging people with robots in a section labelled 'Sabbatean Frankism'....given tormentil's previous post about replacing the middle classes with robots, I think we have indeed dug a little further and found the antisemitism.
Pensionista · 07/04/2021 11:39

@DdraigGoch....Oh okay, what medical 'facts' and that sort of thing do you have ? Never mind, I'm sure a world renound and respected Lawyer didn't do any research and get any medical 'facts' and that sort of thing to use in one of the biggest trials of the century.

tiredofitall99 · 07/04/2021 11:40

@RichardMarxisinnocent hi I did reply yesterday, God knows where it is.
I was referring to being forced to provide evidence of a 'covid' jab (no matter what type you end up with) to be able to travel for work - not brand specific. I've just always called it the Mrna. I only know one person who got a choice, rest got what they were given..

Cornettoninja · 07/04/2021 11:41

No problem @noblegiraffe.

Fwiw I’d be interested in an answer too. If I was given to conspiracy I’d be far more suspicious of those pushing for economic recovery over and above everything else. Feels a bit ‘nothing to see here - get back to work and shopping’ to me. If I was thinking along those lines of manipulation I would say that other (absolutely legitimate) concerns have been somewhat hijacked.

Cornettoninja · 07/04/2021 11:42

I only got as far as Wikipedia with the Sabbatean Frankism. Interesting but clearly an issue if people are weaving this into their opinions.

Pensionista · 07/04/2021 11:54

@Whatwouldscullydo
Totally agree with everything you said. I'm happy to see some people still question instead of being conditioned by TV MSM GOV GOV PAID SCIENTISTS, TV DOCs and ruddy CELEBS. A daily brainwashing for over a year several times a day without a break. This is why companies pay thousands advertising their products, because it works at the unconscious level without people even knowing they are being conditioned. I got suspicious because of the censorship taking place, no balance or opposing views from other scientists or virologists or Doctors.

tiredofitall99 · 07/04/2021 12:01

@noblegiraffe
I refer to them as Mrna jab, thats what it started with so that's what I call them. For the purpose of this thread I shall now refer to them as the 'covid' jab as it seems to cause much confusion...
I'm not sure why the question on the evidence.. its not wierd phrasing.
The evidence that you have had an injection is going to be required in digital format. As in, not like the baby 'red books' our kids had, or a little card with your booster date for typhoid or whatever

Hettyhopper · 07/04/2021 12:08

It's just 3 weeks to protect the NHS.... it's just until the vulnerable are vaccinated....sorry to cancel Christmas you can have it at Easter.....it's just until everyone is vaccinated....it's just until you've all got your covid passports...it's just until there's zero cases in the UK....it's just until there's zero cases worldwide...it's just until us and all our mates are filthy rich and you lot will do whatever the fuck we tell you.*

Precisely

Hettyhopper · 07/04/2021 12:08

Bold fail apologies Blush

noblegiraffe · 07/04/2021 12:11

I refer to them as Mrna jab, thats what it started with so that's what I call them.

Do you know who else calls them that? Vaccine conspiracy theorists. No one in normal conversation talks about MRNA vaccines.

TheReluctantPhoenix · 07/04/2021 12:21

@tiredofitall99,

What do you mean the evidence of a vaccine is being ‘digitalised’?

Do you mean it is stored in binary digits on a computer, just like everything else these days? Did you want them to have an old fashioned filing system from the 1970s?

pommedeterre · 07/04/2021 12:25

@noblegiraffe

I do a bit sometimes - they are different to AZ and I find the differences between the two fascinating. So if Im talking to someone else interested abut that then you would refer to them as the 'mrna' vaccines.

Im not an anti-vaxxer in any way - I'd do 'normal' jab passports let alone covid ones!!

Cornettoninja · 07/04/2021 12:30

Same @pommedeterre. Although the pendant in me wants to point out it’s mRNA....

Also not anti-vaxxer and due my second Pfizer dose soon.

noblegiraffe · 07/04/2021 12:31

I do a bit sometimes - they are different to AZ

They are referring to all covid vaccines as MRNA injections.

E.g. "if I want to take my son to the cinema etc I MUST provide 'evidence' that I've had an MRNA injection."

I don't think any proposed vaccine passports distinguish between types of vaccines.

Covid vax is easier.

I see this thread took a turn for the ridiculous. Shame.

noblegiraffe · 07/04/2021 12:39

The focus on the MRNA in vaccines is because that's the bit that conspiracy theorists think will turn into poison and kill us all, or alter our DNA or send Bill Gates tracking info or whatever.

Read upthread to find out how the AZ vaccine is being positioned in the same way.

"It is a DNA viral vector vaccine. It is one step in front of an mRNA vaccine, in that it inserts synthetic DNA into your nucleus to code the mMRNA."

savethegrannies · 07/04/2021 12:41

noblegiraffe this issue is more nuanced than conspiracy theorist/not conspiracy theorist. We all know their are flat-earth folk out there. But there are also people - myself included - who think big tech is milking this pandemic (which of course is real) to increase their influence within societies and governments. The tie-ups between tech giants and governments globally have come thick and fast since the virus began. Google, and Amazon have done deals with governments around the pandemic, these issues are well documented. Is it in the financial and business development interests of these tech giants that fear associated with the pandemic is dragged out and maximised? Of course it is.
These companies are not in cahoots with governments but they certainly have the ear of global leaders in terms of how we handle this pandemic (and, low and behold, part of that involves handing over more and more of our personal information etc).
People are right to be concerned.

Ephe17 · 07/04/2021 12:41

Conspiracy theory
Term weaponised by the CIA in the 1960's to marginalise people who questioned the conclusions of the Warren Commissions report into the assassination of President Kennedy.

Event 201
A coronavirus pandemic exercise run in New York on 18th October 2019

Great Reset
A proposal by the World Economic Forum to rebuild the economy sustainably following the COVID-19 pandemic. It was unveiled in May 2020 by the United Kingdom's Prince Charles and WEF director Klaus Schwab.

TheReluctantPhoenix · 07/04/2021 12:42

I don’t know why the excitement about mRNA vaccines. They are designed (as is the AZ one, which I must admit I thought was more traditional) to get our cells to manufacture the spike proteins, which our immune system then recognised. The below is a great explanation of the AZ vaccine.

www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/health/oxford-astrazeneca-covid-19-vaccine.html

The thing is, though, every time we get infected by an actual virus, it uses pretty much the identical mechanism to replicate itself. In fact it is estimated that about 8% of the human genome comes from past viral infection.

There is nothing dangerous or new about this process, it is just safer, as what is being replicated is harmless spike proteins rather than active virus.

MrsHastingslikethebattle · 07/04/2021 12:47

The great reset was a load of bollocks in my opinion but we arent coming out of lockdown until we say is absolutely true.

Government get a consensus of the public via polls, letters to MPs etx. I could guarantee you if the vast majority of people were still wanting to lockdown and tier 3 restrictions, they would have.

Now more are being vaccinated, a year into lockdown and now the opinion has shifted. Everyone is bored, depressed, lonely fed up and the government know it.

Its very silly of you to think that the government don't change their agenda with the majority of public opinion.

noblegiraffe · 07/04/2021 12:47

this issue is more nuanced than conspiracy theorist/not conspiracy theorist

I know. But read this thread and it's clear that a lot of people are being led down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole from what they're saying and the way they're saying it.

Clearly some people are making massive profits from the pandemic. And some governments are going to use bad news to slide through favoured legislation.

But when you've got 'why are they trying to get everyone vaccinated WHAT'S IN THE VACCINES??!!' A really simple answer is 'because they want to stop people from getting covid so we can get out of this pandemic and getting as many people vaccinated as possible is a way to do this. What's in the vaccine is....a vaccine'.
