So with the release of figures as of Friday 19th March over half the adult population of the UK have had at least 1 vaccination.

The number of jabs given is March was phenomenal and its likely numbers will be lower for the next few weeks but even if its "only" 100-200k a day thats still more lives potentially being saved!

Are you trying to cause a problem between me and Hugo? Admit it you want him all to yourself!

I'm just jealous about how many holidays he manages to go to... I want to go on holidays as well and for that I need DH to be vaccinated! :D

Well Boris has just said 60% of 45-49 year olds have come forwards for there job already.

That is a brilliant for such a short amount of time. So hopefully we will get down to lower 40s quickly. He is lower 40s isn't he? I can't remember.

DdraigGoch · 20/04/2021 18:43

No, he is 56 and had his some time ago.

Mumoftwoinprimary · 20/04/2021 23:02

Both my parents had their second jab today. That is now all 4 grandparents “double jabbed”. I feel a definite level of relief.

Paddy1234 · 21/04/2021 07:31

All the 45+ recently of my friends have been jabbed with the Moderna.
Does anyone know the stocks as I thought they only had around 500k?

Great numbers. Record second doses for NI - over 60% NI adults now had 1 dose and over 20% NI adults now had 2 doses. We’re getting there 🎉

EasterIssland · 21/04/2021 14:30

Hugo has got a new picc!
He looks rather dashing!

Over 1 in 5 adults have now had both doses!

lunar1 · 21/04/2021 17:44

Our area has been doing drop in clinics for anyone who meets current criteria and hasn't had a first dose yet, there have been three this week and they are hoping to do the same next week. There has been a really good turnout and no appointment needed.

Bordois · 21/04/2021 18:05

I preferred the old one

Oh dear. Hugo now looks like a trainee Boris ☹

Afraid between this and the lack of dedication to daily numbers I will have to stick with my husband

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 21/04/2021 18:09

We had a mobile vaccination bus station itself at a local supermarket today Grin

He looks much younger in this picture! I thought he was in his fifties for some reason
Mumoftwoinprimary · 21/04/2021 23:47

He was born in 1988! (Good old google - I even know his middle names now!)

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 22/04/2021 00:06

We are all going to get into trouble with the mumsnet mods for stalking him 😂😂😂

What! He can’t be younger than me!!! Thought he was mid 40s -50s.... Blush
Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 22/04/2021 00:15

To be fair his last photo made him look a lot old and a hottie

False advertising!

We shall still love him for feeding our daily jab addiction though

Bordois · 22/04/2021 10:31

Do you all feel a bit grubby now 🤣

UK vaccination rate is not too far off its peak, and higher than at any point other than that late-March surge.
@OurWorldInData
graph shows UK weekly pace along with some other comparable countries.

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 22/04/2021 14:46

All ticking along nicely 🥳🥳🥳

6 years older than my oldest child 😳
