Astra Zeneca one?

People are only posting about their side effects, I would like to know if many people don't experience any?

@KoalaKube

Had mine Wednesday, no side effects at all. Prepped just in case, clean sheets on bed, paracetamol at the ready etc, nothing , had to look really hard to see the puncture mark. Not had Covid.
I deliberately didn't change the sheets in case DH was sweaty after his and I would then have to change them twice, I will change sheets tomorrow Grin
Comefromaway · 13/03/2021 22:47

How long after having the vaccine did you get Covid?

Comefromaway · 13/03/2021 22:48

Cross posted.

That’s worrying but re-assuring it’s not as bad as it might have been.

TrailingLeaves · 13/03/2021 23:05

None AZ

YoYoYumYum · 13/03/2021 23:07

Oxford. 1st jab no side effects apart from a very mildly sore arm i.e. not sure unless grabbed at the injection site. Awaiting 2nd jab.

DP Oxford and same reaction as me and absolutely nothing, not even a sore arm after the 2nd jab.

spababe · 14/03/2021 08:03

My Dad, aged 86, had the Oxford. No side effects whatsoever. He's on paracetamol all the time for pain though.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 14/03/2021 08:04

DH had no side effects whatsoever.

reprehensibleme · 14/03/2021 08:10

92 year old Ddad, 54 year old Dsis, me (over 50Wink),dad's neighbours both late seventies, BIL nothing other than slightly sore arm for a couple of days - all Oxford Astrazeneca. Dfriend was wiped out for about 24 hours with temp and fluey symptoms after Biontech Pfizer but absolutely fine after.

AfternoonToffee · 14/03/2021 08:20

Me, just a sore arm. Most of my colleagues did though. I even booked a day off work so I could be ill, but nothing happened.

Abouttime · 14/03/2021 08:27

Absolutely no side effects.
My arm didn’t even ache despite everyone telling me it definitely would!

ApplesinmyPocket · 14/03/2021 08:29

None for me, my DH or my best friend (AZ). Well, my arm was a tiny bit sore around the injection site, but nothing to speak of.

Averyslover · 14/03/2021 08:33

My arm hurt when I was getting dressed and undressed. That’s it.

Tommika · 14/03/2021 08:39

I had Astra Zeneca yesterday morning.
I didn’t even notice the needle going in, I dislike needles and only noticed the needle in her other hand while she was about to clean my arm, looked away and it was all done.

I can only notice it this morning if I stretch and roll around my arm - it feels like a bruise, and if I don’t stretch my arm out I don’t feel it

I was tired yesterday evening and dropped off on the sofa for a nap a couple of times, however I also had a long day yesterday dropping off boxes of stock at a couple of shops getting ready for them to open when the calendar allows.

Mindymomo · 14/03/2021 08:58

I had AZ yesterday morning, came home and took dog for an hours walk. Had lunch then fell into deep sleep, so my husband said. I cannot hardly see the injection site and no aches today. My brother had his AZ Thursday, and had sore arm and muscle aches day after, but nothing else.

daisypond · 14/03/2021 08:59

It’s 24 hours after the AZ jab for me, and still nothing.

knittingaddict · 14/03/2021 09:22

I had the AZ jab exactly 24 hours ago and nothing so far. Not even a sore arm and I was painting woodwork yesterday.

Downthefarm · 14/03/2021 10:20

My DH and MiL.

tiredteacher100 · 14/03/2021 10:26

I only had a slightly sore arm, DH had that and felt a bit tired - nothing major. The Zoe app has a link about the Vaccines

Stickytreacle · 14/03/2021 10:26

My parents had pfizer with no side effects, in laws had AZ with no side effects. Me and my dd, both fluey for a few days after AZ. Still rather have had it though, hoping the seond dose goes down better!

Tigerswife · 14/03/2021 12:18

Just a bit tired and sore arm x

Dundustin · 14/03/2021 12:19

I had the AZ last week. No side effects at all. I feel very lucky.

BarnacleB · 14/03/2021 13:25

Both my DH (58) and DF (75) had the AZ with no side effects whatsoever.
My DM (75) had the Pfizer one and felt fluey for 24 hours

cheerfulpanda · 14/03/2021 13:32

I had the Pfizer and no side effects from either dose, I was expecting some reaction after jab two, but nothing.

Slightly sore arm after the first one but I think that’s because I had some bleeding at the injection site when it was administered.

I’m 28 and healthy, pretty sure I haven’t had covid previously. The nurse who gave me my first vaccine said if you’ve had covid previously you are more likely to have a reaction, but I don’t know if that was anecdotal or based on any science.

Crunchymum · 14/03/2021 14:12

My MIL and FIL were both fine after their AZ vaccines (mid 60s and mid 70s respectively and neither have had Covid)

RaininSummer · 14/03/2021 14:19

No side effects here other than slight arm awareness.
