Astra Zeneca one?

People are only posting about their side effects, I would like to know if many people don't experience any?

None. Great feeling to have had it too.

RagzReturnsRebooted · 13/03/2021 18:49

DH(41) had it a few weeks ago and nothing bar a very slightly sore arm. I was convinced he'd be bed ridden as all 3 of my colleagues who had it (most of us had Pfizer) were really ill with it. He's worried it means it hadn't worked!

Hadalifeonce · 13/03/2021 18:51

Several friends and relatives have had no side effects. Some have had either a headache or sore arm. A couple of people had flu like symptoms.

simbobs · 13/03/2021 18:53

I had mine yesterday and don't have as much as a sore arm. From reading threads on here I had expected to be laid low. It was the AZ one. No after effects does not equate to it not working.

daisypond · 13/03/2021 18:54

I had mine - AZ - first thing this morning. No side effects so far. No tiredness, no headache or flu symptoms, no sore arm. Nothing.

forcryingoutlouder · 13/03/2021 18:54

Had mine and fully prepped for a tired/ poorly day but had no side effects at all. Just relief that it had been done!

sunnydaleslayer · 13/03/2021 18:56

DM had them - headaches, nausea, fever, chills
DF absolutely nothing
Neither have had covid

DH had his today and has had covid so we will see!

Suzi888 · 13/03/2021 18:56

My 79 yr old DM had no real side effects. Her arm hurt the next day, that was it.

Turtles4543 · 13/03/2021 18:56

Yes me. Have more of a sore arm with the flu one

catsaysmeow · 13/03/2021 18:56

DH was ill for around 4 days. I had a slightly sore arm and felt a bit tired for about 24 hours. Out of everyone I know who has had it, it's been the men who have had the side effects.

gamerchick · 13/03/2021 18:57

I think part of the problem is calling them side effects rather than an immune response, like they're to be feared.

I'd have been more concerned if I didn't get anything at all tbh. Like my immune system just went meh and went back to sleep.

happytoday73 · 13/03/2021 18:58

My DH and 2 friends had last weekend... No side effects

Sparklingbrook · 13/03/2021 18:58

Mum and Dad both had the Pfizer-nothing. A CEV relative had the Oxford-also nothing.
DH and I are having the Oxford one this week.

Redact · 13/03/2021 18:59

My DH didn't have any side effects, he had Covid last year. I've not had covid that I know of and had a very sore arm and painful shoulder, felt as though I'd hurt it, felt very tired for a few days and a headache.

Redact · 13/03/2021 19:00

We both had az

Abraxan · 13/03/2021 19:00

I had Pzifer. I had covid in October and I'm CV.

I had a bit of a sore arm, my gland under my arm was painful for a while and I had a little bit of a headache for a day. Pain under arm was manageable with painkillers and lasted just a couple of days or so.

Loubylou79 · 13/03/2021 19:00

Husband, parents and in laws had no side effects apart from a sore arm

starbrightstarlight8888 · 13/03/2021 19:02

Older people aren't getting side effects generally. I had pretty bad ones, I'm in my 30s.

Florelei · 13/03/2021 19:05

My DP’s mother didn’t have any side effects.

Eleventhgreenbottle · 13/03/2021 19:06

I had it this morning. So far so good. I've cleared the weekend just in case.

Myalternate · 13/03/2021 19:10

My relative was totally fine after the AZ vaccine but unfortunately, my sister in law and niece both had reactions to the Pfizer vaccine. My niece had hives develop all over and at 18, she's SO glad she wasn't going clubbing ! 😂

Where do you get that info from? I’ve never heard that
FuzzyPuffling · 13/03/2021 19:11

DH - apart from a very slightly sore arm for 12 hrs, nothing else.

CeibaTree · 13/03/2021 19:11

I had my first jab a few weeks ago and apart from a slightly sore arm for a couple of days I didn't have any side effects at all. I was gearing myself up for days of side effects after reading threads on here though!

OatcakeCravings · 13/03/2021 19:13

I had the AZ jab yesterday, was prepared to feel meh today but no, nothing, don’t have a sore arm except momentarily this morning when I bashed it off the side of the bathroom door!
