@TheHouseElf yes, but despite admitting that you don't fully understand what he is saying, you have not responded to any of the posters who have suggested why they think he might be wrong

@PrincessNutNuts - he's on Twitter and there's other videos (I believe - won't dare say for certain in case the lynch mob turn up) on YouTube.

@Ethelfromnumber73 - He's a vaccine expert, with a PhD and over 30 years in developing vaccines, so my O Level Biology (which I took many decades ago) does make it a stretch at times for some of the more technical information he covers. I think that would be fair for most people to be fair.

He may well be wrong - he may well be right - but since I'm not a PhD vaccine expert I'm not in a position to say either way. IF you want to watch it, or any other of his videos, they're out there. IF you don't, them ignore them - and me.

Just wanted to add, one of my brothers (who's a retired bio-chemist) watched this today as I wanted his thoughts on this video. (For reassurance as I'm in the next age bracket to be called for vaccine roll-out).

He's said he couldn't fully understand his argument (so, its not just me being a thick). Says it seems to based on good science, but feels this would be on a worse case scenario, which he believes probably won't happen - particularly as he had the Oxford jab at the weekend . However, if Vanden Bossche is correct, then as he put it, we've scored a massive own goal.

And for anyone thinking I've conveniently invented a brother, who just so happens to be a retired bio-chemist - please feel free to check my posts as I have mentioned him before on a Covid vaccine post the other month.

What I’m struggling with in your advocation of this scientists video is phrasing like this “However, if Vanden Bossche is correct, then as he put it, we've scored a massive own goal”. What do you mean by ‘own goal’? That we should have let it run it’s course without mitigation?

@Cornettoninja - the phrase was my brother's, by which he meant if (IF) Vanden Bossch is correct, then he believes the vaccine rollout would have made this situation worse.

Look, I'm not endorsing the guy - I'm in no position to do something like that. On his Twitter page (or on Youtube) there are other videos. There's a different (and shorter interview here):

He's put a paper up on his Linkedin page (I don't have an account, so can't access) but looks like he's provided data on there for discussion among the scientific community.

Has he ever publicly talked about the mental health crisis going on in the UK? Not that I can recall.
