Group 6 appears to be able to book on line now

Try this link you answer saying you don’t know if have any of the CEV conditions but then it lets you book if you’re in CV ie Group 6. Far quicker than waiting for GP’s to contact Grp 6.

Nor me - it says i have missed my first appointment and need to book both again, and when I click continue to do that, it says I'm not eligible to use the service.

I've not had an appointment to miss!

Doesn't work for DS either. I have mine this week (not sure how I qualify) but he is registered as an unpaid carer so thought he would qualify. I'm going to see if there are any spare slots for him when I get mine, though

Did you answer the question “are you CEV?” as “don’t know”

Then it lists CEV conditions to which (being Group 6 you answer no)

It then lets you through

Didn't get that far. Asked him to put name and dob in, then asked if he was a first line health professional, he said no then it said he wasn't eligible to use the service online at this time

I am group 6 have been trying the site at least twice a day for a couple of weeks. It didn’t work yesterday or first thing this morning. About 10ish I got my text invite from the GP this morning and have booked over the phone but I tried the site out of curiosity and it worked for me for the first time.

I guess it must only work if your GP has invited you or marked you as eligible somehow.

how strange. I tried it first thing this morning and it said not eligible now it says I am and have missed an appointment! first I have heard of it.

Should I book it? dont want to get there to be told I should not have come!

I've been called in I assume as group 6 due to asthma but I haven't had steroids since 2005! Should I have been shielding?! 😳

Don't get the option to answer any questions. Just input NHS number and Date of birth. Then says not eligible.

I have a text msg from my GP a couple of weeks ago informing me I am group six but that they have run out of vaccine and have not had any since.

CV don’t shield thats CEV and group 4 , if asthma is your only condition you’ve probably been called in error as only severe asthmatics are in group 6 but if you’ve been invited then go .

Mine doesn't get that far. It asks for DOB then asks if im a frontline health worker. Once I answer no it says not eligible

Ooo, mines working! I haven't been able to before, so I guess my GP has now added me? Is that how it works? I'm 46, so it must be because of group 6 and not age.
It hasn't got my local centre and the appointment is for two weeks time. Does anyone know if I book this one if I am able to cancel it and get a closer one?

The steroid rules for group 6 are tight but they do go back to any time, so if you've ever been hospitalised of had 3 sets of steroid over 3 months, even if it was 20 years ago, you are still eligible.

Also although I don't meet that criteria the nurse at my practice says I am listed as eligible on their system but I haven't actually been called & can't book online so I'm not holding my breath.

I think I'd feel better if my GP put some sort of update on their website. There's just a list of staff meeting dates on there.

@wizbit93 yes you are able to cancel after booking just by logging in again.
