Try this link you answer saying you don’t know if have any of the CEV conditions but then it lets you book if you’re in CV ie Group 6. Far quicker than waiting for GP’s to contact Grp 6.

Ive just been able to book mine online (E lancs) Im cv and 50, I wonder if they are releasing the oned already 'coded' on their records?

Doesn't work for me and I have a text from GP confirming I'm group 6.

I am Group 8 - 55 plus. I should be CEV but my doctor hasn't contacted me. I managed to book online earlier which I couldn't do yesterday. I am in central London, if that makes a difference.

It doesn't work for me either. I put in my NHS number and DoB then it asks if I am a front line care worker or social worker, and when I answer No it says I am not eligible to book. There must be something in the back end to release the ability to specified NHS numbers according to GP records or somesuch.

Ive asked my twin to check if she can book - if she can book then its by age in my area and not by my G6 status

I'm group 6, and have managed to book through that link! So massive thanks to OP for posting.

I'd tried several times before, but was not eligible, so something has changed - either they've added group 6, or my GP has flagged me up in some way to make me eligible.

My DH (same age/same doctor/same area) tried - he's not group 6, and it rightly came back as not eligible for him, so it must be based on group 6 eligibility.

Just found out I'm Group 9 so âges away yet

As someone on another thread has posted don’t forget when booking to scroll right down on last booking page and press “Accept Booking” or maybe confirm booking. Otherwise it’s not confirmed and you won’t get text/email. It’s not v clear.

On saying this apparently they’ve been allowing vaccinations without but unless you complete this final step you won’t have booking reference.

I am also EL. I am going to book. I am 51 with health conditions, it says I can now book. I have not had a text or letter though

It worked when I closed my browser, cleared cookies and tried again :) First vax on Friday next week!

Group 6 (confirmed by GP) and not eligible to book yet either. Mine also says I've missed my appointments, which isn't true, I've never received an appointment. The Group 6 roll out really is a farce. The roll out in general, is obviously, brilliant, but the way Group 6 are being dealt with is really poor.

I have booked mine for Sunday, thanks OP I might not have checked again. I presumed I would be in group 6 but had not had it confirmed, although I am on the flu jab list and am classed as having a neurological condition.

I put DH NHS number in and he is not eligible. He should be Group 9 by age.

@edwinbear I think it’s a system glitch when it says you’ve missed appointment. Try saying yes you have it seems to let you start from scratch.

Works for me, but I'll try again in a couple of days to see if there's something closer than 25miles (as the crow flies).

The national booking won’t give you closer locations. You’d have to wait for the GP to contact you for that. The queue speeds along faster if people take the first appointments they can get.

Remember there are 2 systems running GP booking to more local hubs and then the centralised system which mostly books by age which send people to mass hubs.

Did you answer the question “are you CEV?” as “don’t know”

Then it lists CEV conditions to which (being Group 6 you answer no)

It then lets you through

It doesn't ask "are you CEV" it just asks if you're a health or social care worker.
