This is great if true. But bloody hell, it really underlines the need for other countries to hurry up with their vaccination programmes to reduce the risk of more variants developing

Thankfully the Covax scheme is getting underway, hopefully it's a success.

another good thing is the missing mutant strain person has been narrowed down to less than 400 houses. You'd think there'd be a good chance of tracking him/her down now. Hopefully people are knocking on doors.

It’s gone a bit bonkers again out there. Yet so much improvement with admissions/ infections and the vaccine roll out.

My mil has an admission for some routine surgery this month. I know I’m biased but great work from nhs, cracking on with the backlog as soon as possible.

My money is on heartwarming Christmas tv drama about the gp practice that got delivered 2 boxes of vaccine by mistake and managed to round people up so no doses were wasted.
There will be a workaholic gp parent who needs to learn the importance of family and some scenes of comedy homeschool failure.
It practically writes itself.

Had a good day yesterday. We got our LFT and all are negative. I uploaded the results to the NHS website too. I hope others do too. Even though they were negative I still think its important to show officially. As cases might go up if the number of tests do too it doesn't look as bad.
