Kids outdoor sport
Golf + Tennis

Early April:

Outdoor pubs + restaurants

Mid April:
Gyms

@studychick81

What do you mean all in doesn't work? My dc went back in September and continued until xmas with no problems. I don't think the jan lockdown was caused by schools.
There are 20 billion threads about it.
AllAroundTheWrekin · 21/02/2021 22:40

Very risky. I thought they would phase school in, but I guess they don't learn from past mistakes.

icantthinkofanamehelp · 21/02/2021 22:40

It's not a fuck up.
We have very effective vaccines.
We need to get on with life.

SnarkyBag · 21/02/2021 22:40

God no hairdressers until may?! My teen sons will probably refuse to go to school looking like they do right now Grin

frakas · 21/02/2021 22:41

Ffs with no phased return to schools? Have they learned literally nothing??

Glad we already did home ed.

OrangeBananaFish · 21/02/2021 22:41

Look on tomorrow'spapers.com

They all say the same

8th March - all schools, care home visits for one person and socialise with one other person outside

29th March for rule of 6 or 2 households and sports. Also stay local is dropping

Everything else is later.

AllAroundTheWrekin · 21/02/2021 22:41

We have very effective vaccines

Two out of three have not had them yet.

Ugzbugz · 21/02/2021 22:42

Outdoors for April pubs etc, going to ruin alot of them.

As soon as schools open, r rate and infections will be through the roof and this plan won't exist.

Truelymadlydeeplysomeonesmum · 21/02/2021 22:42

@Downriver

It was caused by schools. In London and SE everyone I knew with schoolchildren was falling down in December, including me.
It was caused by high community transmission and high schools. Would be impossible to have one without the other. Which is why schools open in some areas were not affected at all
Pinotwoman82 · 21/02/2021 22:42

I really hope indoor mixing is not allowed yet

Chloemol · 21/02/2021 22:43

Schools going back at once is just wrong. It needs to be stages

I predict if this happens everything else will slip rather than full lockdown

StealthPolarBear · 21/02/2021 22:43

So no timescale for indoor mixing? Well not as leaked yet.

SpiderinaWingMirror · 21/02/2021 22:44

Hairdressers in May
Fuck me. I'll look like Brian feckin May by then

FrangipaniBlue · 21/02/2021 22:44

Ah yes because what happens in London and the SE is representative of the whole of the UK......
MajesticWhine · 21/02/2021 22:44

I thought the whole thing was the dates can't be fixed and it depends on the data?

Fortyfifty · 21/02/2021 22:44

Why not all outdoor sports? My teen girls have had to join adult sports teams ages 13/14 as there aren't enough females to make up junior teams for their sports beyond those ages. They desperately need to be out of their bedrooms and running around a sports field /court in the open air.

CurlyhairedAssassin · 21/02/2021 22:45

3 weeks between 8th March and 29th. They’ll be using the 2 week Easter holidays on the 29th as a circuit breaker if it all goes tits up and cases start increasing because of school transmission. I don’t believe that this is the end of phased return to school . I think possibly they’ll have to do phased return after Easter hols. Or maybe after the May ones.

HazeyJaneII · 21/02/2021 22:45

All achools open to all years at once....fuck.

SimonJT · 21/02/2021 22:46

I just want to know when marriages can happen again, we’re meant to be getting married at the end of April.

RichardMarxisinnocent · 21/02/2021 22:46

I just had a look at the Guardian, no mention of whether we still have stay local when we can mix outdoors. Most of my friends don't live locally to me, if we have to stay local being able to meet people outdoors is no use to me. To see my family outdoors I need to be able to leave the local area and stay in a hotel.

icelollycraving · 21/02/2021 22:46

My concern is early April things opening up, so Easter holidays? Shock
