How many tests have you had?

I’m participating in one of the Covid studies and have had 5 tests in total. Two were due to symptoms and 3 were due to the study calling me in for tests due to headaches or a rash etc.

I’m happy to do my bit and go for tests when the app suggests it as it all helps to understand the virus more but I just feel a bit embarrassed about having had so many!

I’m in a public facing, frontline role if that’s relevant.

I've had about 9. Two of which I sought and the rest requested by the Zoe app for to symptoms. It's a weird one with the app, as it asks if you're not feeling quite right. Things that I would not think twice about otherwise spring to mind and seem to trigger the app to invite me. All negative. Thankfully.
I don't mind having them as it adds to the database and it kind of represents my family and colleagues who haven't had tests. Meaning if I tested positive then they might well, too. All with no classic symptoms.

  1. My toddler DS (still attending nursery) has had 3. Always turned out to be a cold!

7 - all asked for by the Zoe app and 2 in hospital. I find it reassuring to have had them...and even more so that they were all negative

None. Only one in HH who ever had a test is DH who was coughing with a cold around... September time? that the boys gave him (their symptoms didn't include a cough).

I was invited to ONS routine survey but declined, didn't like sound of all the tests.

One, requested by Zoe app when I reported runny nose & sneezing. Positive!! Despite having had 1st dose vaccine. So unexpected - none of the 7 main covid symptoms, and symptoms gone by the time notification received.

Two PCR tests and lots of LF tests (have them 2x weekly at work)...

About 6.
5- via ONS survey testing. All negative.
1- via NHS testing. I went to a test site after my husband tested positive. Mine was then positive too.

Two ... both negative
