How many tests have you had?

I’m participating in one of the Covid studies and have had 5 tests in total. Two were due to symptoms and 3 were due to the study calling me in for tests due to headaches or a rash etc.

I’m happy to do my bit and go for tests when the app suggests it as it all helps to understand the virus more but I just feel a bit embarrassed about having had so many!

I’m in a public facing, frontline role if that’s relevant.

Loads! I get tested twice a week now as I work in a school. Plus quite a few before that through the Zoe app. Most negative. One positive.

sunflowertulip · 19/02/2021 11:15

Three, one to go on holiday, one for symptoms (cough) and one because the Zoe app asked me to go (headache). All negative.

Ietthemeatcake · 19/02/2021 11:19

5 - all negative.

3 through the Zoe app for headaches, sore throat and the like (have been invited for 2 more that I didn't do)

2 lateral flow when I've been volunteering at the vaccine clinic.

OldEvilOwl · 19/02/2021 11:20

One positive

LionLily · 19/02/2021 11:21
  1. I've just counted my text notifications During the first lockdown I had 2. But since December we have had to take 3 a week - 1 PCR 2 LFTs.
LionLily · 19/02/2021 11:22

All negative. Only 1 of our residents have ever tested positive. And 3 staff members, although only 1 had any significant illness from it and she has an underlying condition.
We have been very lucky.

AradiaGC · 19/02/2021 11:22

None testing for active infection.

3 antibody tests as part of a research study, all negative.

Flev · 19/02/2021 12:02

None, although toddler DD has had one (negative)

Incyra · 19/02/2021 12:02

Just counted notifications. I've had 54!

oneglassandpuzzled · 19/02/2021 12:06

3 PCRs, all negative

1 for hospital pre-admission
2 for Zoe (occasional cough)

Bargebill19 · 19/02/2021 12:06

None. I’m currently in a school where all staff should have twice weekly lfts. Apparently cleaners are not included -despite doing deep cleans when the bubbles burst. 🤷‍♀️

squeekums · 19/02/2021 12:06

None for me dd an dp

Fuckadoodledoooo · 19/02/2021 14:56

Just one, the day before my c section.

No one else in family had to have one yet.

TinyTear · 19/02/2021 15:01

None

The Zoe app asked me once to do for fatigue but i didn't because i hadn't slept for a few days so knew the fatigue was because of that

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 19/02/2021 15:19

Two because of symptoms and now two a week of the lateral flow tests for work (teacher working in school every day).

I think I had covid back in March but you couldn't get tests then unless in hospital.

happymummy12345 · 19/02/2021 15:21

None

crazycatgal · 19/02/2021 15:25

I'm a teacher, currently doing 2 lateral flow tests a week.

Elllicam · 19/02/2021 15:26

Lots but I work in a nursing home. 3 tests a week (2 are the lateral flow ones)

MrsAvocet · 19/02/2021 15:28

Seven LFTs.
I'm a volunteer tester at my children's school and we get tested ourselves every week.
Ironically I am the only member of my family who hasn't had a PCR test. Everyone else has had symptoms requiring testing except me, though they've thankfully all been negative.

MirandaWest · 19/02/2021 15:29

I’ve had one, prompted by the Zoe app. Was negative

Erictheavocado · 19/02/2021 15:33

I am a TA and we have been in school since September. 2 PCR tests over Christmas holidays as required by our LA. 2 LF tests per week as required by school. None for symptoms. So far, all negative.
