Menstrual changes after AZ vaccine?

Has anybody had any changes in period dates after their vaccine?
Mine came two weeks after the first!
Could be stress I suppose and was just wondering if anybody else had it? It’s not a listed side effect so I’m assuming it’s unrelated!

[quote EasterIssland]Dm is reporting a study will be done related to this

And you can take part in the study:

But fill in the yellow card form online first as that is the way for the UK regulator to monitor these things.

I had AZ last Wednesday and my
Period arrived a day earlier than I was expecting but to be fair this is not that unusual. I was hoping it would be delayed Grin

Just found this thread and felt I had to add my experience.
I’m 58, no periods for 3 years and sailed through my menopause. Had my AZ vax on 18 March. A week later I started getting symptoms of PMS. Greasy skin, spots, increased discharge and my boobs were hellishly painful. So uncomfortable at one point, I ended up taking pain killers and considered going to the doctors. They slowly eased off and two weeks later, I had a period. It wasn’t just a bleed, it was exactly like the ones I used to get when I was menstruating. Lasted 5 days - as mine always did. Started the same way, finished the same way. Same quantity.

I googled and petrified myself about what potentially could be wrong, but as I’d clearly had some sort of hormonal surge, I decided to just to wait see and very quickly, everything returned to completely normal again.

I contribute to the Zoe Covid Symptom app and always watch Prof Tim Spector’s weekly update - and this week he mentioned there have been increasing reports of women experiencing either heavier, unexpected or out of kilter periods and cases of post menopausal women like me experiencing a rogue period after several years following their vaccination.

Because it’s something we don’t tend to discuss openly, I do wonder if there are more incidents of this happening than are being reported?
I’ve submitted details of my experience to Zoe and completed the online survey.
It’ll be interesting if there is a correlation and whether I will experience the same when I received my second jab.

The Kings College/Zoe symptom study app which millions of people are reporting to is now collecting data. It is asking people to report menstrual cycle related changes if they experience them.

This thread really interested me! My experience is on going but I still have no idea if jab related... but here it goes
I had my second jab 4 weeks exactly before my ovulation
On ovulation day I noticed it ALOT more than ever before. I am not trying to conceive I am just giving my body a rest from contraception as I have been on it since 15 and I I now 29!
Anyway what I first thought was ovulation pains I am still experiencing now and I am 3days from my period.
My symptoms for last 2weeks have been

  • belly aching
-lower back aching
  • thighs aching
  • spotting ( ones small spot brown)
  • bleeding after sex ( pink )
Driving myself mad with anxiety about what could be wrong.... but I have called the doctors twice and they seem to think all is fine but they will check when I have my up to date smear the middle of next month ... Anyone else had symptoms like this or had any experiences with this symptoms that ended up being something different or even normal? Xx
