Just that, really. If self catering holidays in the UK are allowed to go ahead in April, and you had one booked, would you go?

Yes yes yes. I’d go right now if they said I could.

Why wouldn’t you?

Nobble · 15/02/2021 16:34

Yes, mainly because I want to see my parents and sistera 100 miles away from me. If its ok I will get an air bnb nearby as guessing I wont be able to stay in their home. I will also make a little holiday of it, as im a Covid nurse and I really need a break now!

TooManyPlatesInMotion · 15/02/2021 16:34

Yes, absolutely. Would love to.

User7458 · 15/02/2021 16:35

yes, of course we would

Hoppinggreen · 15/02/2021 16:35

Yes, I have been eyeing up some remote holiday cottages in Northumbria for Easter.

Covidcorvid · 15/02/2021 16:35

I'm hoping to, I have one booked. Also have a week away in the UK booked for mid March which I suspect won't go ahead.

britespark1 · 15/02/2021 16:35

Definitely! We have an Easter break rescheduled from last year and if it is within the rules then we will be going.

LizBennet · 15/02/2021 16:35

Definitely.

Alfaix · 15/02/2021 16:35

Yes, we have 4 nights booked in a SC lodge with a hot tub and really hoping to go.

oohyoudevilyou · 15/02/2021 16:36

if we were driving there ourselves, and planning to spend our time outdoors walking and picnicking, yes. Not ready for restaurants and crowded tourist attractions yet, but would absolutely love to get out of the city with the kids.

Gubanc · 15/02/2021 16:36

Nope. In April none of us will be fully vaccinated.

MNnicknameforCVthreads · 15/02/2021 16:37

Yes. And I will be going on the one we've booked unless the company cancels it.

PinkPlantCase · 15/02/2021 16:37

Yes, if allowed we’ll be staying in a self catering place near family that live 4 hours away.

ForeverBubblegum · 15/02/2021 16:38

Yes, life's grim enough right now without denying yourself thing that are allowed.

Devlesko · 15/02/2021 16:39

No, but I'll be in my van asap and travelling again.

Colinthedog · 15/02/2021 16:39

Definitely, going on ours unless they cancel it!

hopingforabrighterfuture2021 · 15/02/2021 16:40

This is really encouraging, thanks. We have a week booked in April and I would absolutely love to go. We would just be walking, swimming in the sea and picnics etc. Self catering. Everything crossed!

Booked for April (last year before lockdown for DH’s 50th). Not convinced it will happen but hopefully it will and if allowed will definitely be going.

AgeLikeWine · 15/02/2021 16:42

I won’t be going anywhere or doing anything until I’m safely vaccinated.

If I was jabbed by April, and travel was allowed, and everything was open, then yes I would go.

Autumn101 · 15/02/2021 16:43

Yes we have 5 days booked near to my parents - they’re 3 hours away so doable to drive without stopping! Won’t be doing restaurants even if they’re open we just want to have some time together on walks/picnics

CKBJ · 15/02/2021 16:45

Have a Easter hols booked moved from last year so hopefully will go ahead won’t hold my breath though!

LST · 15/02/2021 16:47

Definitely. I'm counting down the days until I can get in my van. I'm group 6 so hope to be vaccinated by then, but even if I'm not I'd still go

OverTheRainbow88 · 15/02/2021 16:48

Yup; I would tomo!

Lindy2 · 15/02/2021 16:48

Yes, if it was just one household and a self catering cottage where you could keep your distance from others, I would be there in a flash.

We're supposed to be in a cottage on a farm in Norfolk this half term. It's the holiday we were supposed to have last Easter. Clearly it's not happening for us but I would so love a change of scene and to be in the countryside for a while.

clopper · 15/02/2021 16:49

Yes
