Would you go on holiday in the UK if allowed in April?

Just that, really. If self catering holidays in the UK are allowed to go ahead in April, and you had one booked, would you go?

Great as it would be I just can’t see it happening . The govt would be mad to let mass travel around the country and mixing only 3 weeks after the schools open . We all saw the photos last year of people piling on the beaches and queuing up Snowden. I think SAGE is dictating slow and steady this time. I think May bank holidays and half term is more likely

rawalpindithelabrador · 15/02/2021 20:43

Yes.

JaninaDuszejko · 15/02/2021 20:51

We've got a holiday booked for May half term (postponed from last year). Really hope things are open for that. I'll be taking some holiday in Easter though and will be planning lots of local days out in the countryside.

nevernotstruggling · 15/02/2021 22:44

Yes but only to the van. We have a van way down in Cornwall. I can shop up here and not really do anything down there that involves being close to others.

I don't think I would consider a holiday in a hotel etc

Doyouavocado · 15/02/2021 22:45

Obviously, why would you not? Hmm

Chollok · 15/02/2021 22:46

Probably not but only because everywhere will be rammed and therefore hideous.

Miseryl · 15/02/2021 22:46

No because we no longer holiday in this country anyway- we like the sun.

AntiHop · 15/02/2021 22:47

If I could travel by car and keep away from other people.

Sadly, I don't think we'll be at this point by April.

DenisetheMenace · 15/02/2021 22:50

At our age, if we were vaccinated, yes.

If we were young and it was allowed, yes absolutely but we would still very much keep to ourselves because we wouldn’t want to potentially make anyone ill.

What you’re planning sounds lovely.

If permitted I will do day trips so a literal staycation. The price of the usual popular UK spots are already world beating. I rather jet or sail off when it's safe and generally available!

LadyCatStark · 15/02/2021 23:26

No, U.K. holidays are too expensive. Plus we Iive by the sea so there’s no point going on a seaside holiday.

Pinkmarsh · 16/02/2021 00:15

Yes!
