I’ve had my vaccine - work in a London nhs trust 😊

Ladies my mental health is really bad !!! My fault reading reports life won't go back to normal after vaccine etc ... been struggling a month or so now ... so glad we have this post x

On a very positive note, the government said it was going to move onto the next group and send out letters to the over 70s in the next week or two. I know of a few letters that fluttered onto the doormat today. It’s definitely happening, and it’s got to be a sign that things are moving in the right direction.

My parents had a text saying this

Thanks hun Matt Hancock got me down saying if vaccine works blah blah blah I know someone killed them selves weekend due to lockdown so put me back (sorry for the shit post on here )

I think I'll join this lovely thread. I'm a mental health practitioner but it's hard to support people through depression in a lockdown when I've been feeling so bleak myself. This discussion might be the tonic I need to keep going. Also lovely the baby animal pics, I am very much here for that kind of content

Yes, I do a little happy dance every time I hear how many people have been vaccinated ... more than half over 80s is PHENOMENAL and it just keeps on going up and up! And now the over 70s So exciting.

Honestly looking at another thread on corona people really are losing a grip. Someone just reads half of an article and ignores the rest. And fans the flames of anxiety. I'm calling it out now whenever I see it.
