Wrapped myself tightly in my duvet
Now I feel like crying again but will go to bed.

FML!!!

I have developed a massive headache. Anxiously waiting to see if DS will have a key worker place at school tomorrow so I can't go to sleep yet.

On my second G&T, opened the tub of Roses and eaten lots, had a weep, cuddled my dogs, blocked out the reality of life as I cannot deal with it tonight.

Spoken to my mum. Settled the 1yr old again. Hugged DH. Screamed noiselessly (do not wake the baby) into the void.

Cried.

Hugged my son who came and gave me a hug and told me not to worry.

Cried again.

Topped up my order from the milkman. Kind of coincidental, but I did notice that the Ocado website has a queue to get in for the first time in months.

Come home from work, caught up with the news and now going to bed. Modern life is rubbish.

Eaten a whole box of gruyere and poppy seed twists.
Stood up to make a negroni, remembered dry January, swore loudly.
Sat talking hopelessly to DH.
Glum.

Spent £75 on home schooling supplies

Watching Monday night football....relieved it can carry on this lockdown, about the only thing to look forward to these next few months!

@ilikexmas I didn't need a place in the last lockdown so they didn't have my details, I had to apply over the weekend. I don't know if I will get it or not but I'm out of options!

Poured wine.
Bought some books on Shackleton for history topics.
Printed off learning sheets.
Looked up BBC Bite Size topics.

Our school only gave us Purple Mash and it is rubbish.

Just need to plan it all into a working day. I guess I'm kissing my exams good bye.

Decided kids can stay up until 11pm so I can clear work emails and work out how the fuck I do my work schedule again with 3 kids at home.

Stared at work schedule.

Worked out how homeless I’ll be if I get sacked.

Googled hot tubs for one last big spend.

Opened Jack Daniels.

Stared at work emails.

Realised I don’t want to look at work emails (food chain).

Hoped people won’t panic buy.

Drunk the Jack Daniels.

Cried inside.

Texted memes of BoJo having a wank to all my friends.

Cheered up.

Cried again. Out loud this time.

Done some decoupage with middle child.

Turned off laptop.

It’s been an emotional hour

Eaten a lot told the kids it was fine reassured my uni student daughter it would be fine although I really have no fucking blue she is supposed to be in Wales in two weeks at uni but we have no clue if she can get there from England in lockdown

Remembered these are the only nuts in the house

Cried lots and my 10 year old daughter cheered me up with a pamper night with candles and Friends ❤️my husband poured me a vodka!

Comforted my broken hearted 8 year old after I had to disturb him reading in bed to tell him that he wont be going to school tomorrow
And ordered a laptop😭

Spent the best part of an hour consoling the 9YO. She loves school and loves seeing her friends. We had already told her that there was a chance she wasn't going in, but I think the reality has hit her now. It was an inset day today.

Shaking and crying

I've mostly drunk gin and furiously whatsapped my teaching dept about wtf we are to do tomorrow. I am off to eat dry cereal now and cry a bit.

Slipped into a depressive, shitty mood. Brushed my teeth and come up to bed at 8.30 with the baby

I have read the guidance to understand the implications for my DC, but mostly to work out whether i need to be up at 6.30am to get a car MOT’d (I do!).
