Still no email about the Christmas slots.

I got some coupons that don't work as well - was going to just ignore them as an error as I only had some last week but might drop them a DM if they're going to send me some vouchers ....

I got the coupons as well @fuss mine included £25 soap but my coupons dont work either

I got toilet cleaner, tango and stage 2 formula (DC's are 13 and 17!)

I assume they will send you the vouchers if you email them, but you'll only actually be able to use one, so @bruffin get your soap!

At one point, Ocado closed down the website for 48 hours; it suspended its app for five months for most of its customers; some still can’t access it

How many of us still haven't got the app back? (I haven't)

I still haven't got the app back either. The most annoying thing is when editing an order a header to open the app comes up and when I click on it it then says it's not available.

No shortbread here either.

I'd forgotten about the toblerone! I am fortunate that I've got a slot especially as we buy for my FIL who has been advised to continue to shield.

I've got the app. But for the last week I haven't been able check out, so I can't make any changes to the basket via the app.

I had an order delivered yesterday, including some of the Christmas items. I felt the length of the use by dates were generally an improvement this time.
I had a few substitutions, but they were sensible so I kept them. I also had a few unavailable items, amazingly panettone was one them, I would have expected them to have a warehouse full of the stuff in early December.
Another unavailable item was rack of lamb, though they stock five or six versions of this, so it's hard to believe that they had absolutely none available.

I wasn't too keen on the way it was delivered, the driver removed the bags from the plastic boxes while in the van and brought piles of bags to the door, then mounded them on the wet doorstep where they spilt over.
Social distancing wasn't in evidence!
But on the bright side I got a huge tin of shortbread!

No shortbread. No app.
But... I do have 2 deliveries booked - for 7/12 and 16\12 which it now tells me are past their cut off point. I can't edit, change delivery or cancel.

It then tells me I can add to the order until the cut off point but it's hard to see how.

I'm assuming hoping it's a glitch.

Finally got a slot that I could use but whilst I was going through the interminable number of screens they make you go through before you can actually check out it was amusing to see that they felt the need to tell me that I could save money on items if I had a smart pass.

Clicked the link to set one up and was promptly told they have suspended smart passes for the foreseeable.

@CoteFolie it should be a glitch. I have a weekly delivery on sundays and i can edit until friday night. It should just be 2 days before the delivery date. I can see it's madness though that almost all days from now till christmas are gone!

@GiantKitten I booked my CHristmas slot back in October with a place holder. went back to populate it properly and EVERYTHING festive is out of stock. It's absolutely improbable. I think I will end up giving up the slot and going to Waitrose which is frankly about the most excitement I get these days anyway.
(I went into a Waitrose a few weeks ago and bought harissa roasted nuts and the most delicate and lovely heart shaped lavender shortbread. YOu don't get that from M&S Ocado...)

I could handle Monday's order as currently checked out but the 16th is by no means finalised.

For everyone wondering about Christmas** stock, this has been posted on Twitter from a longtime 'whistleblower' or aggrieved employee/customer?

'some xmas items will show from the 19th dec to add into the trolley for the xmas wk order. the downside is if got a slot booked on the 20th cant add any in cause the editing time cuts of on the 18th'

Did the site go down last night? I couldn’t edit my order which is due Friday although it was telling me I could. I logged out to see if it made any difference and then couldn’t log back in. It seems fine again this morning, but too late.

I think that twitter lady has a son that works for them. She seems to search for the word ocado and give random tips.
