Carrying on from the last Ocado thread that is about to fill up. Still haven’t been given a toblerone yet.

No toblerone here . I’ve stopped ordering with Ocado at the moment as finding my shopping coming to so expensive . Done a couple of shops with Tesco and so much cheaper . Can’t afford the difference at the moment .

Orangeblossom78 · 18/06/2020 08:46

Why not try Waitrose instead? We have priority and with that you can get the fast delivery service at no cost. Comes the same day.

SouthWestmom · 18/06/2020 08:54

I tried to register with Ocado and was told they weren't accepting new customers. Looked again just now as I saw this thread and logged in but it just returns to a page where I have to register again under a different system to get notified when I can book. Which might be every two months?

Disappointing. It's the tone of it all really.

CarlaH · 18/06/2020 09:52

Has anybody actually been allowed into the site having been told that they aren't priority and have to fill in a contact form?

In other words has filling out the contact form had any result.

Orangeblossom78 · 18/06/2020 10:00

They sent us an email saying on the priority list, but when I try and go on it says no.

PeterPomegranate · 18/06/2020 10:03

Ha ha. We’ve had a thank you Toblerone and can now book deliveries every 3 days if we want (I don’t).

I am taking this as a sign we spend FAR too much money with them ...

AlphaDalpha · 18/06/2020 10:08

I'm spending £150 every week and no toblerone ☹️

Also their fruit is always damaged at the moment which is a pain but preferable to going to the shops.

PeterPomegranate · 18/06/2020 10:11

Yes we had a bruised melon last week.

We are shamefully spending approx £200 a week but we are not spending any other money.

CarlaH · 18/06/2020 13:13

Why on earth are they letting some people book every few days and not allowing others even to log in and see what slots they might have.

kingkuta · 18/06/2020 14:34

If anyone is having problems logging in from the priority access page try clearing your cookies and cache. This has worked for me a couple of times when I've been thrown back to the priority booking page

PeterPomegranate · 18/06/2020 14:50

@CarlaH

Why on earth are they letting some people book every few days and not allowing others even to log in and see what slots they might have.
I don’t know. It does seem wrong. As I say, we won’t be order more often even though we can. And the available slots are still a couple of weeks ahead. I don’t think I’d be able to get a slot next week.
CarlaH · 18/06/2020 16:56

kingkuta

Cleared cookies but still not allowed in.

Thanks though.

Justgivemewine · 18/06/2020 17:16

kingkuta how did you manage to get toblerones in future deliveries. Its not working for me Sad.

Asking on behalf of dh definately not for me

RaggieDolls · 18/06/2020 17:20

Two toblerones here.

UpperLowercaseSymbolNumber · 18/06/2020 17:34

We can book orders every other day now, not that we do. Spending £250+ a week in one shop - not all for one household but still crazy. Feels like prices have cooled a bit from their eye watering peak.

We did get offered a toblerone but it didn’t come due to stock problems which rather felt like the whole Ocado experience over recent months... So they sent us a £10 voucher for chocs and wine. Sounds like they haven’t programmed it in properly if people can get multiple.

FranKatzenjammer · 18/06/2020 17:40

I also got two Toblerones! But most of my fruit was missing this week: they didn't even substitute a different type of apples for the missing Braeburns 😞

kingkuta · 18/06/2020 17:47

justgivemewine I've no idea!! I already had booked and checked out a couple if future deliveries and when I went back in to edit them the toblerone was just offered when I checked out. Must be a glitch in the system!

277xo · 18/06/2020 17:56

Have an anytime smart pass and no toblerone for me :( I’m also still stuck on one delivery a week which is going to my parents. I see others can now make multiple orders a week which I’d like to do so I can use it for my own shopping too now that I’m back at work. Clearly I don’t spend enough money with them Envy

DobbyTheHouseElk · 18/06/2020 18:00

No free chocolate for me.

Glad to be getting a slot at all.

Never had an anniversary present. Been shopping with them 6 years. Nothing. I’m a high spender too.

suggsy · 18/06/2020 19:19

We can book once every 7 days now and 21 days in advance so I’ve snapped that up and got my deliveries for the next few weeks in. We’re still £20+ a week than normal though with subs. No toblarone or butter emails (but they did accidentally give me an extra pack of smoked salmon Grin)

YukoandHiro · 18/06/2020 19:21

I got offered a Toblerone but had to decline it because I've got bloody gestational diabetes :(

Lovelydovey · 18/06/2020 21:40

I want a toblerone! And some better flash sales offers!

PowerslidePanda · 18/06/2020 22:35

I want a toblerone! And some better flash sales offers!

Same here! They keep offering me gluten free stuff, for some reason. I've never bought any "free from" stuff and don't want to deplete the supply of products that other people rely on, just because it's a good deal Confused

FredAstaireAteMyHamSandwich · 18/06/2020 23:36

They’re shooting themselves in the foot. I am only allowed 1 slot every 7 days. I give that to my Mum, who spends £50-60. If I was allowed a slot every 3 days, I would be no doubt giving them £150 of business...

NormaLouiseBates · 18/06/2020 23:42

They make no sense. I can now get an order every day if I want! Obviously I don't, I'm still sticking to once a week but how strange is that? I spend a decent amount but not like crazy amounts... generally £150-£175 a week.
