Is there something else going on

I’m sorry if this is in the wrong place, I can’t think of the right section to put it. I can’t shake the feeling that something deeper is going on here. I’m not sure if it’s my anxiety talking and the fact I have a lot more time to sit and think about it but I can’t get it out of my head. I am thinking something devastating to the planet, asteroid collision or something, with corona as a cover up to avoid mass hysteria in our final days. Why are they still launching Starlink when the rest of the world has completely shut down? Where is all this money coming from that the government is throwing around seemingly without a care to how we will pay it back. Why are they so unbothered by so many members of society who stand to lose everything if we stay shut down for much longer (pubs, leisure industry, travel/holidays, weddings etc). Why do we keep hearing about empty hospitals, bored staff and the empty Nightingale hospitals? Why are we stopping ALL planned surgery’s seemingly disregarding the health of everybody apart from corona sufferers. No plans for if/how/when our children will go back to school. I just can’t get my head around it.

I’ve not looked for ages but here’s a couple of starting points @tartantexan

@Conflicted91

Fuck off posting links to RT, Russian troll.

Girlinterruption2020 · 25/04/2020 23:30

@LilacTree1

What’s the deal with some people getting breaking news s as leets on their phone?

Girlinterruption2020 · 25/04/2020 23:30

News alerts

merryhouse · 25/04/2020 23:35

My mother-in-law (born 1940) gets breaking news alerts on her phone.

The simulation hypothesis is just a new way of phrasing "an idea in the mind of god"

Boireannachlaidir · 25/04/2020 23:52

This whole thread is batshit yet strangely compelling at the same time.

Hitler/nazis - check
Bilderberg - check
NWO - check
Shape shifters - check
The Simpsons - check
Big pharma - check
The Clintons - check
Bill gates - check

It's a bit light on the establishment and the Royal family though...

Girlinterruption2020 · 26/04/2020 00:04

No lizards @Boireannachlaidir

What does that mean, btw? It looks Irish

That's my theory- the virus was not finished yet that why is has such an array of symptoms. If this had started in Africa- no one would have questioned that would we? What with H.I.V, Ebola, Marsburg and the like. Not that I believe those 3 viruses came from Africa. I thought it was now a fact that America created H.I.V for the same reason they all conspired Covid 19.

"Luc Montagnier"

Some of his other strange ideas:

"Donald can’t help the fact that the science/medical field is not his forte "

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/apr/24/trump-disinfectant-bleach-coronavirus-claims-reaction

Harvard’s toxicology Twitter account felt the need to issue medical advice online following Trump’s statement, giving a scientific reason for why you shouldn’t swallow bleach (you know, for when common sense won’t suffice

Celeste Ng@pronounced_ing

I have a lot of sympathy for every PR people at every single disinfectant company who was told yesterday,
“Look, we need to you write a serious non-profane press statement telling people not to inject bleach - in the next 10 min, please.”

Reckitt Benckiser, the UK maker of household cleaning products like Lysol, issued a statement on Friday saying
“under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body (through injection, ingestion or any other route)”.

Girl “ What’s the deal with some people getting breaking news s as leets on their phone?”

I just didn’t know it was a thing, so wasn’t fully aware how easy it would be to whip people up into a frenzy.

saraclara · 26/04/2020 08:42

science/medical field is not his forte and he doesn’t know any of the terminology. Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t listen to him.

No. The fact that the science/medical fields is not his forte is the exact reason we SHOULDN'T be listening to his own thoughts about science and medicine. We need to hear the thoughts of scientists and medics. His job is to put across THEIR thoughts and opinions, not his.

If there was ever a time we needed be listening to the people who've spent their entire life studying and working on viruses and medicine, this is it. The half baked ramblings of a businessman made president have put people in danger.

JAME0 · 26/04/2020 08:51

Totally disagree. Complete conditioning to think that you need people with qualifications to know how to be healthy.

Of course these people could never be biased or corrupt! 👀

Conflicted91 · 26/04/2020 19:30

If you have to censor people and call them a Russian Troll in order to win you're argument, then you're not exactly winning.

Try and censor these doctors:

This is a huge HOAX and if you've fallen for it... well then it's say a lot about you, doesn't it. Lol.

StealthPolarBear · 26/04/2020 20:15

I read that Dean Koontz book recently. The virus stuff is right at the end and really isn't that similar.

cybercontroller · 26/04/2020 20:56

And if you think Russian state news is a good source of information, you don't exacly have a working brain cell.

Americanmary1 · 26/04/2020 21:46

I think I've seen that video that conflicted91 just posted.
There is nothing crazy in it. It's an American doctor basically saying lockdown makes 0 sense, like none and he explains why.

I thought it was now a fact that America created H.I.V for the same reason they all conspired Covid 19.

I thought HIV was an accident resulting from using chimp blood in polio vaccines. They can trace hiv back to the places they stated the polio vaccine program in Africa. Some people think the American gov then synthesis hiv in a vaccine again and deliberately gave it to gay men and drug addicts in new York. They gave them money to enter a drug trial or it was supposed to be a vaccine for hepatitis or something, but it actually gave them all HIV.

RuffleCrow · 26/04/2020 21:50

Whilst i don't buy into any theory 100% and see my own position as a combination of healthy scepticism and a reasonable amount of open mindedness, I do think those who are here just to offer a knee-jerk "that's ridiculous" are ignoring the fact that history, when studied in any detail, rarely upholds the 'simplest explanation is the most likely to be the correct one' maxim. It's full of tangled webs of people motivated by greed and self-interest, just as @Conflicted91 has described.

If you are only concerned with a simple, surface view, you'll miss 99% of the true picture, even when most of the 99% is at odds with your comforting simple explanation.

I have far more questions than I do answers.

Confusedasusual78 · 27/04/2020 01:38

The medical tyranny/Fauci et al theory is starting to seem plausible.

B1rdbra1n · 27/04/2020 10:13

Tangled webs of people motivated by greed and self-interest
I agree with this!
My chief issue with conspiracy theorists (for want of a better term-I realise that is a derisive term and I don't mean this derisively) is they overestimate the degree to which people can control events, there are always multiple unforeseen consequences.

Baconisgoodformeee · 27/04/2020 11:05

Also there are vastly different people who want different things. North Korea and China are allies and yet they are in some ways working against eachother etc. Same with USA and UK. I highly doubt there is one group of shady individuals who control literally everything.

JAME0 · 27/04/2020 11:14

@B1rdbra1n until you realised people will do anything for money. They don’t have to be in on the full picture, just happy to play their role.

If people would apply this reasoning to the way Christianity spread through the world bearing in mind the only recompense the followers got was a gruesome death, the world would be a better place.
