Just in case we have more crimes, murders and general mischief to confess to.

Please leave your shoes at the door, have a Dettol wash and then stand awkwardly while not consuming any perishables.

Ironic smiles and head tilts are ALOUD but absolutely no laughter, fun or enjoying yourselves.

Disinfectant and disposable whips will be provided.

Willow2017 · 15/04/2020 19:51

Oh hve you seen the car wash thread?
Op asked if she could wash her car at the automated wash when she got petrol?
Cue the obligtory "Is it necessary to wash your car? I think not" She is already at the fricking petrol station what difference does it make? What the hell am I missing?

FFS it is necessary here due to fecking seagulls and my car is too big for me to wash with a bucket and too far from my door anyway.
I despair!

LilacTree1 · 15/04/2020 19:51

CrowCat “ Gin. That is all.”

My cousin just texted to ask what I’m doing generally and I’d like to send that as answer, but he’ll freak out 😂

Willow2017 · 15/04/2020 19:53

Maxandezra

Mental isn’t it? 😂

I’m off to read the car wash thread. I think I’ll get banned too if I dare to comment on those threads. Honestly, I do wonder if these people are really as batshit as they sound or if it’s just a cry for attention on MN

I am thinking of starting a thread.

Got in my car today (company car) and an alert came up that it needs a service.

So do risk not advising by the agreement I have with my employer to book it in as required.......or is that a non essential journey to the (open) dealership, where people are still working and will it make me a murderer.

Shitsgettingcrazy · 15/04/2020 20:24

Might also mention it's a Mercedes just to help the frothers along with their hate.

Though they shouldnt, the car is shit. I hate it.

Willow2017 · 15/04/2020 20:54

Smile

Willow2017 · 15/04/2020 20:55

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 15/04/2020 20:59

DH is planning on cleaning his car this week and said he’ll do mine as well. The cars are parked on the road so he’ll be outside our property!

@Shitsgettingcrazy I bet I can get them frothing more than you - DH has a Mustang!

Smilethoyourheartisbreaking yes, I have a car......and I dont even commute anymore 😂😂

You got in your car today? What kind of madness is this? What precautions did you take?

Well when I got out last time, I filled the interior with bleach. When it dried out I put in my hazmat suit and clingfimed it. Inside and out.

So getting when I get in, in my hazmat suit, I can remove said clingfilm. Then when I get back, fill it with bleach again. My boss is going to be pissed when he sees the interior. Grin

Also you must leave it 72 hours between uses.....cause......unknown bizarre reasons!

TheGreatWave · 15/04/2020 21:04

I have decided that this is the new "Can I leave the baby asleep, whilst I put some rubbish in the bin?" It is full of the same level of "what if's?" I think in the absence of the first posters have come out full force on anything covid related.

Willow2017 · 15/04/2020 21:05

Pink
I am so tempted to go on that car wsh thread and tell them it would probbly take me about 2 hrs to wash and rinse my car with a bucket due to having to change the water so often and carrying it back and forward to my house, (round the back door so I dont slop water all through the house Smile ) and ask how that wouldnt be killing thousands of innocents by staying OUTSIDE all that time? I mean I might see a neighbour from a safe distance? I could ask why the very idea would normally give them the vapours yet when it suits them its apparently ok!!!!!

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 15/04/2020 21:05

Now i need to find the thread Grin

I have a friend with health conditions that works for mercedes and is not being allowed to work from home (after sales team). Mercedes are horrible to work for. She has so many problems with them.

That doesnt surprise me. In all honesty I wouldnt have picked the car. The women who had my job before me, picked it. Then left before she took delivery. Its been in the garage more than it's been with me. Its shocking. I am not a fan.

I will book it in. Its essential and part of my agreement with work. Would just like to see the outrage! Grin

I bet I can get them frothing more than you - DH has a Mustang!

Oh my god! Love a mustang! So jealous and so much better than my pile of crap.

Willow2017 · 15/04/2020 21:08

Especially in a petrol station Princess, happens all the time apparently and if its not that its them little beggars stealing babies in cars.

isabellerossignol · 15/04/2020 21:08

If car washing is unnecessary, someone needs to break the news to my neighbour. He is on a cycle of washing both cars three times a week even though they never leave the drive. What can I say? He's normally working, and he's obviously bored and struggling to cope.

I think I'll lean out the window and shout 'murderer' at him. That ought to help the situation.
