Samtsirch · 09/04/2020 20:21

She has an overinflated sense of self importance !
She seems to have googled a little bit about English law and is hoping it makes her sound like an expert 😂
Had she been drinking ? It seemed so to me !
I only hope she has no children, they will be MORTIFIED.
What an absolute tit.

Samtsirch · 09/04/2020 20:22

Sorry missed the bit when she said she’d been drinking !

GabsAlot · 09/04/2020 20:24

Chrissie thats really insulting piss off

For anyone who doesnt want to watch till the end she ends up gtting arrested for not accepting a fine and not giving her details

OP posts:
browzingss · 09/04/2020 20:25

I think the officer dealt with her well, he clearly has a lot of patience.

He essentially said that they fundamentally disagree on whether “mental exercise” is included as it’s an untested area of law, however he’s giving her the option to simply go home and face no further penalty. She insisted on being arrested and refused the FPN. Unfortunately by the time this ends up in court, chances are lockdown may be over OR any exercise during lockdown may be banned so her end goal is pointless

Flaxmeadow · 09/04/2020 20:25

Hahaha, the ratio in the comments Grin

This is so middle class activist isn't? The smug "I know my rights" and "police state!" brigade.

Daft mare

Doyoumind · 09/04/2020 20:26

Shes a flat earther. I think that tells us all we need to know.

FfsCorona · 09/04/2020 20:29

This is the sort of shit that will make lockdown further restricted, disgusting attitude

MashedPotatoBrainz · 09/04/2020 20:32

She missed a trick. Should have said she was out for medical purposes, which is allowed. I say this having just read a thread from which I learnt that vitamin D levels may play a large part in who succumbs to the virus.

Claphands · 09/04/2020 20:33

I couldnt watch it all, did she say at somepoint she was a free woman of the state or she knows the Commissioner?

browzingss · 09/04/2020 20:34

Oh dear, she’s probably one of those who believes 5G caused coronavirus Hmm she posted a video of apparent “harmful radiation” from a 5G mast, when in fact she was filming a 3G/4G monopole and her device wouldn’t even able to pick up a 5G signal, and regardless of her test being full of holes, the readings weren’t high enough for concern!

GabsAlot · 09/04/2020 20:39

He said a few times is there any reasons you are out that might be relevant she kept saying she was exercising she could have said getting away from abuse or anything but no wanted to make some stupid point

OP posts:
Flaxmeadow · 09/04/2020 20:39

Intimidating, or even threatening, a lower ranking officer eh? That won't go down well with the desk sergeant and his crew down in the cells. Oh dear ShockGrin

browzingss · 09/04/2020 20:39

She was definitely playing up for her camera/YouTube

CrazyToast · 09/04/2020 20:44

Urg she is insufferable, and also shortsighted. She doesn't care if she gets it, she thinks she won't pass it on? What about the NHS staff who may have to care for her?
And no one is around her but what if someone comes, and she gets it from them, then goes shopping, as she said she intended?

AND what if 10 other people who are wavering in their resolve to stay home, see her, and also do that? We have to set an example.

These police are just doing their job within the context of the bigger picture, not the context of this lady alone. How he stayed so calm I do not know.

MrsTerryPratchett · 09/04/2020 20:46

I'm not watching it and I'm sure she's a tit.

However, get a time machine and go back 6 months. Would you have believed you'd have been baying for the blood of a woman (however irritating) sitting on a bench in a public park? Applauding police for arresting someone for sitting outside? We are begging for the state to take away our rights.

Worries me.

frumpety · 09/04/2020 20:50

I wonder if she normally spends a long time on that bench smoking and drinking and 'mentally exercising' ?

BigChocFrenzy · 09/04/2020 20:51

That 5G stuff is batshit

SItting in the sun - on your own - won't get you arrested here (Germany) - it's encouraged if anything, for VitD,
especially for old farts like me

There's a whole row of benches below my windows, on the Rhine path and one elderly person per bench soaking in the sun for an hour or so per day, until the next shift of elderly comes in

Giggorata · 09/04/2020 20:55

Sounds like she's trying to apply that Freeman on the Land bollocks, with her comments about Common Law and insistence on “understand” meaning “stand under”

I hope the excellent copper reads this hilarious demolition:

freemandelusion.wordpress.com/2018/07/19/i-dont-stand-under-that-law/

GabsAlot · 09/04/2020 20:57

Its the way she speaks back terry and you havent seen it the officer was very nice and gave her several opportunties to walk away

OP posts:
BigChocFrenzy · 09/04/2020 20:57

Yes, mrsPratchett Mind-boggling that what would have been normal behaviour a few weeks ago now has people baying for her punishment

She should have done as the police advised - always a bad idea to argue with the police

However, sitting alone in the sun still isn't an actual crime afaik

  • so long as she keeps her distance, doesn't stay too long and didn't drive there more than locally
GlendaSugarbeanIsJudgingYou · 09/04/2020 21:05

It's certainly surreal, MrsTerry.

browzingss · 09/04/2020 21:05

@MrsTerryPratchett

She wasn’t arrested for sitting outside, she asked them to arrest her and refused to accept any other resolution (including just going home/to the shops with no further action, or a fixed penalty notice), they even approached her twice, 40 minutes apart, so gave her ample opportunity to finish what she wanted to do. I think the police were reasonable.

She escalated the situation on her own accord. She was also drinking which I think spurred her on a bit. Towards the end of the video, she possibly trips as she’s walking so potentially tipsy.

justforthisnow · 09/04/2020 21:09

@mrsterrypratchett you do have a point, and there's no question freedom is restricted in a worrisome way that would never have happened in January 2020, unfortunately the tit in the video won't help that argument.

BBear · 09/04/2020 21:11

She is a self centred twat. How self important - rambling on and wasting police time/energy and resources. We are all in this together and she seem to be more interested in her instagram profile. Listening further - She sounds like she’s had a bit too much to drink. Or is a failed lawyer a couple of vinos down. Shame the policeman didn’t have the balls to lock her up immediately for being drunk, wasting police time and behaving like an idiot. She has no idea how it feels to be in the vulnerable group - I have MS and if I do end up in hospital they will not ventilate me- despite having stayed in for three fucking weeks! And despite having a blue badge and being rushed to hospital with breathing probs at the end of Jan, apparently I am not vulnerable enough. I am not in the first tier of shielded people so have to beg for supermarket deliveries and friends help. If I do end up being unlucky enough to get very ill - hospital staff will see MS on my notes and give up on me. This feels like a slap in the face to be honest. Why is my life worth less than someone like her. We are all stressed and anxious. I have no words...

BakedCam · 09/04/2020 21:14

@MrsTerryPratchett

That's the nub of the argument and I have watched all of it.

Weren't we all up in arms at a feminist being removed from a meeting, by police, for sitting in a chair and refusing to move, what a year or so ago? I vaguely remember something.....

Yes, the woman was being difficult. She hasn't helped herself, she asked to be arrested, the police were incredibly patient.
