When you put your spices into alphabetical order 🙈

I've arranged my herbs/spices/ambient condiments by category. All my spices for curries in one little tub, chinese vinegars oils and sauces in another ....

I mopped my kitchen ceiling.

Yes, my ceiling. With a sugarsoap cloth wrapped around my clean mop and secured with bobbles, in prep for painting (with paint that we already have in the garage) that's going to happen on the next grey day. I'm not wasting sunny days on decorating.

I cleared out they cupboard under the stairs' and found 11 rolls of Christmas wrapping paper...

I ironed today. I DON'T iron, nothing I own requires it, only dhs tops, I did them all, I counted them 63. What 29 year old man needs 63 teeshirts!!!!!!!
I might turn them into a single duvet cover for ds, like a memory duvet cover.

My herbs and spices have always been in alphabetical order . Not mixed up though. Herbs on one shelf. Spices on the others.

I've sorted all my yarn into weight. So all DK in one box. Aran in another etc. Much easier to find what I need now!

I'm either tackling the conservatory or the front door is getting a hot soapy bath

I've found Christmas paper, keys but don't know what for and out of date herbs from 2000

Even better, my student DD who has come home; cleaned the oven!!!

I read someone saying today that ironing kills the virus. Not sure about that because surely washing your clothes does that. I have also ironed today.

I'm getting jobs done, but as usual, procrastinating over difficulties is wasting too much time 😩. wills are very difficult things to write 😢

Tidied and alphabetised my bookshelves, made a box of books to get rid of. DH is the enemy of order and reads a bit more than me so things usually drift into chaos. I have mastered it for this evening though.

I tidied my Tupperware. Im not even joking.

I’ve done nothing useful today.

From this thread, I have learned the useful term ‘ambient condiments’.

I did my carrier bags into triangles yesterday and also sorted the contents of our odd screw/washer/nut and bolt jar into a box with compartments. More excitingly, I then used my label maker to say what was where

I’m Im now feeling the need to put my spices into alphabetical order and triangularise (is that a word?!) all of my plastic bags!

I’ve tidied the cupboard under the stairs and my underwear drawer and, like others I’ve got a list going that I cross off and add to, the one task I’m putting off is painting the bedroom ceiling!

I folded all my bags for life into cute little triangles today.....

I've triangles bags in the past.

Listening to and watching DH curse and struggle to unfold the buggers at the checkout became my main form of entertainment.

Then one week I went shopping on my own and I had to unwrap them. Now I just stuff them into my bag . . .

I’ve done windows inside and out, floors, doors. Might cut the grass tomorrow, they’re stopping the green waste collection soon. 😱

I gave my cat her own little table complete with white lacy tablecloth for her food bowls.

(That's not wierd.)

Sooooo jealous! Still working 10+ hours a day & hoping work will (eventually) tail off.
