The other thread is filling up fast so setting up the foundation for our new evil lair. One where we follow real guidelines, not made up ones, make sock cocks ,ruin hair and bemoan the shortage of Spanish soldiers.

This is where we'll keep each other sane or descend into madness together... depends on the day.

Looks like Iceland bags Grin

Job going great! I have enough PPE to save me from the claps

isabellerossignol · 06/04/2020 23:34

cherries do you know who sent it?

TrainspottingWelsh · 06/04/2020 23:35

grey Grin

Please say it's your neighbour. You have to fill your washing line with disposable gloves.

ilovecherries · 06/04/2020 23:36

isabelle, it was signed the residents. We are a small cul de sac, maybe 12 houses in total could see our front door, I guess. It wasn’t my neighbour, who also got one, or I presume the elderly lady across the road, who also didn’t clap.

Thepigeonsarecoming · 06/04/2020 23:37

Great poem @PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock, a new career choice maybe? Artist/Poet/Poster Maker 😂

kabanner · 06/04/2020 23:39

As the devil incarnate I am not only leaving the house to go to work, but trying to employ more people to leave their houses to come to work.
Finally what we make is sold in supermarkets so encouraging the madness of others leaving their houses.

May I join in?

Thepigeonsarecoming · 06/04/2020 23:39

Just caught up on the old thread...did I rightly read one poster has more than 2 children 😱

Can I just remind new posters to this mumsnet law...you fecking murderers!!!

your over-breeding is already having a huge impact on the environment and you expect everyone else to suffer now to make way for your addiction to child rearing?

WingingItSince1973 · 06/04/2020 23:45

Our local facebook page has now organised a Clap For Boris for Wednesday night 😭😭😭😭 How many more can we clap for? I'm sure we have a few evenings a week with no clapping/dancing/torches etc 😭

SarahTancredi · 06/04/2020 23:48

Instead of clapping we could have go blonde for boris?

Then everyone for months to come will know you showed your support.

Much better than no one seeing you standing like a twit on your doorstep in your pyjamas clapping

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 06/04/2020 23:48

Yes, it really was quite nasty, and liberally sprinkled with emoticons, exclamation marks, capital letters and racism, all wrapped in saccharine passive aggression.

I thought you were talking about the banana bread there for a minute. Proper confused myself.GrinGrin

I’d offer to organise clap for the Spanish Soldiers on one of the free nights, but it appears ours already have it. Can we organise a non clap for the Swedish Firefighters instead? It would be shit if they get it too!

isabellerossignol · 06/04/2020 23:51

cherries do you think it's really 'the residents' or just one busybody?

But really, how rude. I'm not sure I could bite my tongue...

Thepigeonsarecoming · 06/04/2020 23:52

@SarahTancredi you do know buying hair dye is illegal??? Are you trying to start a riot???? 😱

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 06/04/2020 23:52

pigeons I was happier with my sock cock effort.

Sarah I like that idea, I'm already halfway there.

My FB is full with uplifting, sweet , compassionate messages for Boris. Which would be meh normally, but ffs half if them wanted to lynch him for the past six months.

Not their thought and prayers are with him and "gwan lad" like he's their best mate from childhood.

Bunch of troglodytes.

Greysparkles · 06/04/2020 23:53

Unfortunately not my neighbour, they're all far to sane for that malarkey

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 06/04/2020 23:53

Did anyone see the clap for the PL footballers video? It's a sarcastic one ,gave me half a giggle.

Purchased with essentials pigeons

Obviously.....

Thepigeonsarecoming · 06/04/2020 23:54

@ilovecherries I would put a note back through the suspected offenders doors saying “apologies I didn’t join in, I have symptoms of Coronavirus. P.S hope you disinfected this before opening as I licked the envelope”

Thepigeonsarecoming · 06/04/2020 23:56

@SarahTancredi every extra second you spend in a supermarket a million people die! I learnt my lesson after becoming a mass murderer whilst buying hot cross buns!

I do hope you’re now off to pray for your soul for even considering such frivolous behaviour 😂😂

isabellerossignol · 06/04/2020 23:57

Not their thought and prayers are with him and "gwan lad" like he's their best mate from childhood.

Grin ah, when I were a lad, and Boris and I walked to school together in our bare feet, because we couldn't afford shoes...

SarahTancredi · 06/04/2020 23:59

Not if you are like.me.

I.mean I.purchased my hair dye because I was being a good girl and keeping my distance. I had to hide half way down an.aisle to do so.

My roots are thankful it wasnt the the babywipe aisle. It must have been fate..

PrincessConsueIaBananaHammock · 06/04/2020 23:59

cherries fight back with the MN made up rules. Put a poster up explaining exactly what selfish murderers they are, breathing and clapping all over the place, travelling out their front door AND conspiring to commit mass gathering or group socialisation.

Or just put up this poster I made for gin with some modifications. Like "go fuck yourself.with a chair. Repeatedly "

I meant to say to you pigeons, I really enjoyed the rewriting of history the other day where someone popped up to tell you that not a single person had said you shouldn't buy hot cross buns!

Lightofthephoenix · 07/04/2020 00:11

Hope it's ok to join, not only did I go out but I went out and bought hair dye (pink) and dyed DD hair with it.

Thepigeonsarecoming · 07/04/2020 00:13

@isabelle part of me regrets requesting it be deleted, although it was so toxic and full of factually incorrect info from two posters it felt better to deny them any more responses

My favourite was something along the lines of a “policewoman” of mumsnet thanked me yesterday for reporting my neighbour for going and said she hoped everyone would call to report
